Recommended Bike Rack For a 2016 Toyota Prius c For Carrying a Bulls Lacuba E-Bike With Fenders

Question:

I am interested in putting the Eco hitch on my Prius c 2016 model. I understand that this hitch works on my Prius but my main concern is what rack I should use since I have a Bulls Lacuba ebike that weighs in at 50-55 lbs. Do have any suggestions or ideas? Most racks I have looked at are built to carry 2 bikes but I only want to carry one.

I recommend using the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack # Y36FR with the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7194 on your 2016 Toyota Prius c. The OnRamp is capable of supporting bikes with a weight up to 66lbs. It is capable of supporting 2 bikes as you need a rack that uses a frame mount. Your Bulls Lucha e-bike has fenders that will not work on a single bike bike rack that clamps the bike in place by the wheels and tires. The OnRamp also includes a 51" ramp that will make loading your bike much easier so you do not have to physically lift it in place.

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56275 will provide you with a 4-way flat connector. This connector can be used with Auxiliary Lights # C53201 in the event you bike impairs the view of the tail lights on your Prius. It can also be used in the event you tow a small trailer.
