I place my initial order and waited, and waited. I finally got on the phone to find out what was going on and discovered the hidden hitch trailer I had ordered was not in stock and was not expected for some time. I was told there was another option, that was less expensive that was available. I foolishly assumed it was a similar product. The day came that the hitch arrived. It seemed packaged well, but there was still areas where the paint was chipped, exposing bare metal. I did the installation only to discover this was a below bumper model, not the hidden hitch I had originally ordered. Now I am already beginning to see rust on the hitch were the paint had chipped away. The whole experience certainly left a lot to be desired.
Hardware appears and feels to be durable, but came with some light scuffs on the crossbar. Instructions were decent, but I personally would recommend taking out the mufflers if the rear wheels cannot be removed. Some of the plastic clips in the wheel well are very hard to pry off with the wheel on. I made some dumb mistakes on the carriage bolt steps which ended up costing much time and a lost bolt. DO NOT REMOVE THE COILED WIRES UNTIL THE HITCH IS SCREWED IN. Make sure you also fish the wire and hardware through the correct holes. The 1-1/4" channel ended up being undersized as my rack was not able to fit until I sanded both the shaft and the channel.

Purchased hitch to run a bike rack on my WRX. Hitch has been super solid for what I use it for. Light use only but would recommend.
The hitch is nice, sits in the right spot for attaching my bike rack. The reason I give it an average score was the amount of paint chips and scratches on this hitch when I got it. Looks like it was dragged across the warehouse before the put it in the shipping box. Spent a bunch of time repainting it before installing.

Looking forward to installing on my 2018 Subaru WRX Limited, planned usage is a bike rack, so much easier than putting my bike in the trunk. So far opened the box and everything is there, watched several [online videos] on How To install so do not expect any problems there. Only compliant, several slight areas where paint is chipped - but considering this will sit under my car not concerned.

When it comes to shipping hitches, it is very common for them to arrive with scratches. We recommend using a rust-oleum type paint to cover the scratchesspots. This will prevent any corrosion in the future. I have a link attached for your reference. I have also sent this over to customer service for them to reach out to you.

Great service! Ordered about a week ago, just installed today. Took about an hour for 2 “mechanically inclined” 21 year olds. Looks great but was very dusty lol.
Installed on 2015 Subaru WRX. Directions were accurate, i.e., heat shield had to be slightly modified. Absolutely no rattles after installing the hitch. I have read that the equivalent curt hitch for this car can cause some rattles.
Second draw tite hitch I have purchased. Great fitment but unfortunately it came pretty beat up and dusty. Lots of missing paint to bare metal and few rough welds. I have sprayed it in couple of spots with glossy black paint and it looks great.
No rattles like the curt hitch.
Owned it for a year now. Works like a champ. Used it to pull a trailer to Florida several times, from NC. Fun trip, made possible by this strong hitch.
Great, easy to install hitch. Took me about 1.5 hours by myself (on a 105* afternoon). One suggestion I have is if you have a stock WRX exhaust, don't waste your time, just unbolt the two mufflers and take them off of their hangers. Just be careful of your exhaust gasket rings and you'll save a ton of time and give yourself a lot of room. Also, I'm not too sure what the point of taking the rear fairings/underbody parts are, they didn't get in my way or affect the install at all.
