It is required to run a power wire from the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56336 to the battery on a 2019 Dodge Durango. The power wire is actually what provides power to the lights on the trailer. The tee connectors simply obtain the signal. The reason being that you don't want to compromise the integrity of your travel trailer but it does need to be installed on solid anchor points.
