Wiring Guide for Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154

Question:

I need wiring instructions for the Roadmaster, Hytech Hy power wiring diodes in a 2000 dodge dakota. I purchased my truck already wired with a Road master kit including brake system. I had some problems with the pick up rear lights while driving in the snow. It turned out that a couple of the diodes came loose from the weight of snow sticking to the wiring under the rear of the truck. They were not tucked up with zip locks when installed by the prior owner or whom ever wired it. I had to disconnect all of the diodes to get the lights to work. That was a couple of winters ago. Now I am not sure how to reconnect everything. I need to tow the truck in the near future behind my 2002 Bounder as I am moving. Can you please email me the instructions so I can install new diodes properly? Thank you for your help.

Based on my research both your 2002 Bounder motorhome and your 2000 Dodge Durango have combined brake/turn lights. So in this case you will wire the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 as shown in the linked wiring diagram.
