Does 2018 Dodge Durango Need to be Flashed to Install Brake Controller

If I use this w the factory trailer hitch and package installed on a 18 Durango do I have to go back and have the dealership program the computer as well?

While I don't know off-hand whether or not you'll have to get your 2018 Dodge Durango flashed to use a brake controller like the P3 # 90195 with the Adapter # TK93VR, there is an easy way to figure that out.
At the very least you should see the 12V power pin active, but if you plug in your trailer and the lights are working then you shouldn't have to take your Durango in to a dealer. If you don't have a trailer then you can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2979 to test your 7-Way pin for trailer light functions.
I have attached a photo showing what functions the pins on your 7-Way should be showing, as well as an installation video of the P3 and corresponding adapter on a 2014 Durango that you can reference.
