I measured the square Surco Safari bars and they are 1-1/2 inches wide by 1-1/8 inches tall so the Yakima MegaWarrior basket with extension # Y07080-82 will fit those bars. This basket fits a bar spread of 36 to 60 inches.

The first thing to do is figure out if the problem is on your tow vehicle or your trailer.
