Location of Vehicle Side Connection Point for Trailer Wiring Harness Installation 1994 Isuzu Trooper

looked, removed bumper but i can not locate the harness to attach to my trailer, which by the way a 4 flat. i have a 1994 isuzu trooper

According to Tow Ready, the connection point is located underneath your 1994 Isuzu Trooper on the driver side between the rear wheel and bumper. The plug is hidden as it is attached to the back side of a large rubber grommet. According to the illustrations in the instructions, the grommet should also be behind or otherwise near the exhaust. I have attached the installation instructions for reference.
If you find the grommet but the wiring harness is not attached, it could have fallen off behind the grommet. You may need to fish it out by hand or by using a long, thin tool like a screwdriver.
