The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13098 is custom fit for your 2001 Izuzu Trooper. It will not require any drilling to install the receiver onto your frame. You will want to use a Nylon Tube Brush # 814092 to clean out the treads on your threaded inserts in your frame.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55339 will provide you a 4-way flat connector to control the lights on small trailers. If you are pulling a larger trailer with a 7-way connector you will need the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 to add a Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 that will control the trailer brakes.
The etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 contains 2 separate ball mounts with a 1-7/8" ball or a 2" ball. The carry bag will help to keep all the parts together for when you need to change the mount for one with more rise or drop to match the height of your trailer.
