To install the Fusion LED Trailer Light # STL211XRFHB on your 2017 Subaru Impreza I recommend using the Deka Bonded 4 Wire # 16-4B-1 which is sold by the foot. You can then use Butt Connectors # DW05744-10 and Quick Splice Wire Connectors # SWC501746-1 to connect the wiring to appropriate functions.
Your Fusion LED Trailer Light pigtail wiring will connect to your Impreza's light functions as follows:
White wire for ground
Brown wire for backup light
Red wire for brake light

I really wish I had an exact write up for running the power wire on the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118573 to the battery on your 2015 Subaru Impreza but as we have not had the chance to install this harness yet, I do not. There are actually multiple different ways you can run the wire so exact instructions are rarely provided. As you mentioned you can run the power wire under the vehicle but you need to steer clear of any moving parts like the driveshaft or parts that emit heat... view full answer...
There's no fascia or panel cutting needed to install the Curt Hitch part # C11465 that you referenced on your 2019 Subaru Impreza. You'll just need to enlarge the frame holes like you mentioned.
I attached an install video for this hitch on a similar Impreza for you to check out as well. view full answer...
According to my Curt representative, the install procedure for the # C11286 Curt Class I hitch hasn't changed from the 2014 model year to the 2015. This particular hitch is a fit for 5 door hatchback models with single exhausts only.
The Curt hitch warranty stipulates that a stabilizing strap like part # 18050 be used on all non-trailer loads like bike racks or cargo carriers. The problem is that on many vehicles, there isn't a convenient place for the strap to attach to the vehicle (especially... view full answer...
The EcoHitch 2-inch model # 306-X7261 is a confirmed fit on the 2008 Subaru Impreza 5-Door Wagon with Quad Exhaust. This hitch will fit WRX quad exhaust models, including the WRX STi.
I contacted the tech staff at TorkLift, who makes the EcoHitch products, and my contact provided the written instructions for installing this item. I have forwarded these to you in a separate email.
This hitch has a 300-lb tongue weight (TW) capacity which means that a loaded bike rack like # TH934XTR or... view full answer...
The 2012 Subaru Impreza hatchback with naked roof uses Q-clips Q83 for both front and back but that system has been discontinued by the manufacturer. If you can't find them used, then n you will need to upgrade but you can still use your round bars.
What you will need is the Skyline towers # Y53TR, Round Bar Adapter # Y03536, and Launch Pad 22 # Y00248. I also recommend using sks locks # Y07204. view full answer...
The vehicle body harness you need to plug into is located under the left (driver's side) sidewall. If you can't get easy access to it, I recommend removing the panel to gain easy access and then reinstalling the panel once connected. The connector may not be as loose as you expect, but it is there. I've attached the installation details for you. Unfortunately I don't have a video of the installation to attach for you. view full answer...
While enlarging the access holes are not typically necessary on this Draw-Tite hitch receiver # 76084, variances in the manufacturing process can create this type of issue. I recommend only enlarging it enough to fit the spacer into the frame. The access holes can be enlarged by drilling, filing, or using a rotary tool. The spacers are a standard size for use on all the Draw-Tite Hitches. view full answer...
There are actually 2 different methods to installing the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7211 on your 2016 Subaru Impreza; Version 1 that requires bumper removal, and Version 2 that requires hole enlargement.
You can physically lift the hitch into place, yes, but the hardware is a little different when it comes to the install. If you don't want to enlarge any holes on your trunk pan you'll need to remove your bumper to gain access to the opening in your frame so you can... view full answer...
On any of the trailer hitches for the 2014 Subaru Impreza hatchback with single exhaust you may need to enlarge access holes in order to install the hitches. Draw-Tite trailer hitch # DT24959 is the same way. Enlarging an access holes is fairly easy using a file, drill, or rotary tool of some kind. The holes normally do not have to be enlarged very much at all if they even need it.
If you plan on doing some towing then I also recommend ball mount # 3593. It includes a pin and clip. For... view full answer...
I am not sure why the Impreza in the video has a large cut out in the bumper. It was a customer vehicle and they may have had something else installed there at some point. Trimming is not required for installation of hitch # C11286. I have included a link to the instructions so you can see for yourself that trimming the bumper is not needed to install the hitch.
For trailer wiring use # 118573 for a non-WRX/STi wagon. I have linked instructions for the wiring as well. The hitch comes... view full answer...
Installation of the T3 cradle replacement strap is pretty straight forward. You will need to remove the end cap from the end of the bike support arm, a Phillips screw typically holds the cap in place.
Next use a small amount of soap and water to help the cradles, # 853-5829, slide off easily. Once you have the cradles off installation is just the reverse, orient the strap, cradle and anti sway bracket, if needed, together and then slide them on to the correct position.

According to Curt, although it isn't necessary, their # C11315 class I hitch could be welded into place rather that bolted as the installation instructions state, or welds could supplement the bolts. However, doing so would void the hitch warranty.
If you'll be doing some light duty towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # C56111, a ball mount like # C45521, a hitch pin like # PC2 and a hitch ball like # 19256 for a 1-7/8 or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.

The term you are looking for is the shank of the motorcycle carrier will attach to the receiver of the trailer hitch.
The 2009 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport is a Wagon model so as long as it has the single exhaust and does not have the quad exhaust then the Draw-Tite hitch # 76084, you referenced, will fit your vehicle.
The hitch itself is rated for 525lbs of tongue weight but this doesn't mean that your vehicle is. You will find the TW on the placard on the inside of your driver's door.... view full answer...
I can agree with you that running the power wire can be time consuming. It does make it easier if you can get the back of the vehicle on ramps. The hardest part is routing the power wire over the rear axle and staying away from anything hot or moving. Once you get past the axle you can run the wire along some factory hard lines or in between a plastic panel and the body to the front. All of the wiring kits for the 2016 Subaru Impreza require a power wire be ran to the battery.

The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7261 you are referring to can be removed from your 2009 Subaru Impreza in the same way it was installed, which is to remove the bolts which can be done with a torque wrench, though keep in mind you also need to remove the bumper. view full answer...
I would first start off by inspecting inside of both the vehicle and trailer side connector for corrosion or buildup. Make sure to clean out both sides of the connector before reattaching. Once this is done you will need to check for a proper ground at the connector and at each light. Some tail lights are grounded through the mounting bolts. I have included a video that explains how to test for a proper ground.
If you cannot find a ground problem, you can move on to the wiring. First,... view full answer...
Unfortunately, I don't have any video footage at this time to provide you but I have a better set of instructions with more photos that might be more helpful.
Curt offers the # C56368 wiring harness that installs in the same manner as the Tekonsha # 118573, so their more helpful and clear instructions should make things a little more clear for you. I've linked the instructions for you to look over.

No, the warranty on the vehicle will not be voided, nor on the hitch, if you install Draw-Tite trailer hitch # DT24959 yourself.
Consumers of aftermarket products are protected by the Federal Magnusson- Moss Warranty Act.
