The Hitch Reciever Spacers Will Not Fit Through The Holes In The Frame Rails Of A 2016 Impreza Wagon
Question:
I bought the 76084 for my 2016 Subaru Impreza 5 door, but the holes in the frame rail are too small ? - the spacers do not fit through. Am I supposed to drill a larger hole? or are there smaller spacers available?

Expert Reply:
While enlarging the access holes are not typically necessary on this Draw-Tite hitch receiver # 76084, variances in the manufacturing process can create this type of issue. I recommend only enlarging it enough to fit the spacer into the frame. The access holes can be enlarged by drilling, filing, or using a rotary tool. The spacers are a standard size for use on all the Draw-Tite Hitches.
