Can Curt C11315 Class I Hitch Be Welded as Well As Bolted on 2011 Subaru Impreza 5 Door
Question:
It says no welding required, but would there be any major issues adding a couple of beads to where it attached to the frame.

According to Curt, although it isn't necessary, their # C11315 class I hitch could be welded into place rather that bolted as the installation instructions state, or welds could supplement the bolts. However, doing so would void the hitch warranty.
If you'll be doing some light duty towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # C56111, a ball mount like # C45521, a hitch pin like # PC2 and a hitch ball like # 19256 for a 1-7/8 or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.
I've linked to some installation instructions and videos that you might find helpful.
