The load capacity information displayed on your tire's sidewall is the capacity for a single tire. For the capacity per axle, double that number. If your tire sidewall shows 2860 lbs as the max capacity at full inflation, the capacity per axle would be 5720 lbs.

The metal bars that make up the extent of the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # C18115 are 1/2 inch in diameter.

Good question - that's for the whole Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401 kit. So if you were to use these for a roof rack on your vehicle these and the Thule crossbars will be able to handle 165 lbs.
Please note that sometimes the factory raised rails have a lower weight rating than the aftermarket roof rack kit so it's important to check your owner's manual for any weight capacities as well since your lowest rating is the limiting factor. view full answer...
You would not be able to push a hard cargo box all the way to the top edge of the bar on the Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket # Y07138. The only exception would be a soft storage bag since it is flexible. As you said, the sides are rounded so you would hit the inside edge of the sides before anything else. However, the inside dimensions are going to be the usable dimensions so it takes that into account. The inside dimensions are 39" long x 38" wide x 5" tall. view full answer...
There are a few factors that will determine how far back the bikes will be from the rear of your 2014 Subaru Forester. The bike in the last position could be as much as 36 inches from the end of the vehicle to the furthest out part of the bike. You can adjust the cradles to bring the bikes closer towards the vehicle.
And you can also use a longer ball mount so that the trailer is a little further back. If you have the factory Class I Subaru hitch then you could use ball mount # C45019... view full answer...
I checked the owner's manual in regards to the towing capacity of your 2011 Subaru Forester, and it states that the maximum towing capacity is 1,000 lbs if the trailer does not have brakes or 2,400 lbs if the trailer does have brakes. So that is the maximum you can tow with your Forester and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75650.
Even though this hitch has a 4,000 lb capacity, you have to abide by the lowest-rated capacity when towing so either 1,000 lbs or 2,400 lbs depending on... view full answer...
The flat part of the t-bolt with the Replacement Adapter and Seat for Yakima JetStream Crossbars # 8880637 measures 3/4" x 1-3/16" as demonstrated in the attached photo.
This adapter is compatible with your TimberLine towers, but was made by Yakima specifically for their JetStream crossbars. If you let me know the length of the crossbar that you need and which color (Black or Silver) you would like I can recommend the appropriate JetStream crossbars for you. view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13409 which is a fit for a 2019 Subaru Forester has a 525 lb tongue weight capacity. That said, the trailer hitch is tested separately of the vehicle so if the vehicle is rated lower that is what you must abide by. This should be listed for you in the owner's manual.
Please note, if you will be towing then you'll also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118467 and the etrailer ball mount kit part # 989900. view full answer...
When the Yakima SkyRise HD Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars # Y07436 is folded up it measures 48" wide x 42" long x 16-1/2" tall so it will be a few inches taller than the opening to your garage when mounted on top of your 2019 Subaru Forester.
For a similar tent option I recommend checking out the Thule Tepui Foothill Rooftop Tent # TH37HJ which has a slightly different design up folds down so it only sits 9-1/2" tall, so this will definitely allow you to pull into your garage without removing... view full answer...
I will be happy to get you the measurements you are looking for. The RockyMounts Split Rail bike rack # RKY11404 measures 32-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the bike rack when folded down to load bikes.
Ground clearance will depend on the distance from the ground to the top of the receiver opening so if you take that measurement on your vehicle and then add another 5 inches that is the approximate location of the bottom of the spine that holds the rails the... view full answer...

You would most likely need an extension to be able to use a bike rack with only 4-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the carrier. We have a video of a hitch installation on a 2010 Subaru Forester, see link, that shows the hitch pin hole on that vehicle ends up about 7-1/2 inches back from the farthest out part of the rear bumper.
You would only need about 3 inches of extension, so the Brophy Hitch Extender, # hes6, with 6 inches of extension would work... view full answer...

Yes, it does. The Curt Hitch item # C13409 does fit the Wilderness model of the 2023 Subaru Forester. However, I recommend using the etrailer Hitch item # e83ZR instead. This is our house brand hitch but is manufactured to the same specifications as the Curt item # C13409 you were looking at. The only difference, other than price, is the matte black finish. I find this blends in better beneath the vehicle than the glossy finished Curt hitches.
