I checked out the Jaeger kit that you referenced and unfortunately it will not fit your vehicle. The wiring is specific to European models and the connector on the end has too many pins on it. If you look at the comments underneath you can see that someone from the States purchased it not that long ago and it wouldn't fit their model.

- Since your 2006 Mercedes E-350 is a W211 and the 2015 is the W212 they are not going to be exactly the same installation. The process of the installation will be the same with some of the steps being exactly the same.
