How to Wire a Trailer Wiring Harness to 2009 Mercedes E Class
Question:
I bought this wiring adapter but do not have the wiring diagram to install in 2009 mercedes e class. Do you have a diagram or listing of which wire colors go to which lights. Thanks

At this time we do not have a specific wiring diagram for the 2009 Mercedes E class. You will have to use the circuit tester with your wiring kit, part number # C59496, to locate each circuit, behind the taillights, that you need to splice into with the quick splices to install the wiring harness.
You will need to find the left turn, right turn, stop light, running lights, and the ground. Once these wires are located you can splice into them and then run your power wire to the battery positive terminal through the inline fuse holder, do not install fuse at this time. After all wiring is complete and you have the ground connected to a suitable spot on the vehicle you can then install the 10 amp fuse and test the wiring at the connector with the circuit tester to be sure the wiring is properly installed.
