What Drilling is Required to Install Curt Class I Hitch C11001 on 2013 Mercedes-Benz E350 Sedan

Are you required to drill holes in the painted part of the bumper or just the steel. 2013 mbz e550

All Curt hitches for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz E-Class models require drilling. The hitch that fits your E350 Sedan is their Class I hitch # C11001 and to install this you will drill into the bottom of the steel bumper beam but you do not have to drill or cut the rear fascia panel. The linked instructions list the tools needed and the step by step process.
