On your 2007 GMC Yukon there actually isn't a brake controller install port under the dash that a connector will be able to plug into. Instead there are four blunt cut wires by the emergency brake pedal that you will need to wire the controller directly to. On a 2011 GMC Yukon, there will only be bare tow package wires tucked up under the dash instead of a plug. Look below the steering column and to the left of the brake pedal for the wire bundle. The wires you need will be held together with a white tag that also tells you what each wire does.

When installing a brake controller such as the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 on your 1999 GMC Yukon you will want to run the power wire (black) from the brake controller to the battery not the fuse box. You will also want to use a 20 amp circuit breaker like part # PK54220PL in between the controller and battery. There is no universal setting for the Primus # TK90160 brake controller. What you'll need to do is adjust the power initially by driving on a flat surface at 25 mph and turning the power up if the brakes are not effective and down of the brakes lock up. If you are able to turn off the Auto-Leveling system on your 2017 GMC Yukon XL, it is best to turn off the system when using weight distribution. This will ensure the system is installed correctly and is the ideal setup.

With the upper crosstube removed, the height of the Stromberg Carson Bike Bunk # CC-275 above the trailer frame will be reduced by the height of the tube, approximately 2-1/4 inches. This will still leave the arms of the Bike Bunk approximately 31-1/4 inches above the trailer frame.

The wiring to power the brake controller on your 2011 GMC Yukon Denali is under the hood on the driver side next to the fender well. Remove the cover for the power distribution box and you will find the wire taped to a harness between the fender well and power distribution box. In order to install the Draw-Tite front mount trailer hitch, # 65005, the air deflector/fascia must be trimmed or removed on a 1998 GMC Yukon 4x4. Your 2003 GMC Yukon will not have a plug for a trailer connector unless it came with a factory 7-way. Since you are using a splice-in 4-way, that would indicate you do not have a plug. As for how you can rewire your current 4-way, you need to identify the turn and tail lights on your Yukon using a circuit tester like the Cordless Circuit Tester # PTW2979.
