Where is the Tow Package Wiring on a 2011 GMC Yukon to Install a Prodigy Trailer Brake Controller
Question:
I recently bought a Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller and wiring harness for a 2010 Dodge Ram, and now I need a wiring harness for a 2011 GMC Yukon, do you know which harness I need, becasue I found 3 on the website for GM vehicles. 3015-P, 3025-P and 3026-P

On a 2011 GMC Yukon, there will only be bare tow package wires tucked up under the dash instead of a plug. Look below the steering column and to the left of the brake pedal for the wire bundle. The wires you need will be held together with a white tag that also tells you what each wire does.
The tow package wiring should be as follows unless otherwise noted on that white tag:
Red/black tow package wire connects to black brake controller wire. White connects to white. Light blue/white tow package wire connects to red brake controller wire. Dark blue tow package wire connects to blue brake controller wire. Orange tow package wire is not used.
There may also be some connections that you will need to make under the hood to make everything functional. I have included a link to an FAQ article that will help with the installation.
