Installation Instructions for Front Mount Trailer Hitches for a 2004 GMC Yukon

the instructions tell the op to drill 2 holes however the illustrations are not dark enough to see what they mean one place mentions no drilling and another says to drill and if one has factory tow hooks then what ? teh instructions are lacking please advise

If you are talking about Curt hitch # 31302, the instructions do not mention drilling at all. And the first step says that models with tow hooks must remove the factory bolt from the underside of the frame at the forward attachment point. I have linked the instructions to the right for reference.
