How Does P3 Brake Controller Install in 2007 GMC Yukon

Question:

I am installing 1st time a Tekonsha P3 brake controller and also have the harness 3016-P to assist in the installation. Where on my vehicle drivers area will i find the mating plug-jack to snap the harness into on my vehicle? thank you so much

On your 2007 GMC Yukon there actually isn't a brake controller install port under the dash that a connector will be able to plug into. Instead there are four blunt cut wires by the emergency brake pedal that you will need to wire the controller directly to. If you check out the install video link I attached on this page you can see how we installed the P3 on a similar Yukon for you to check out.
