eTrailer totally rocks! !! First of all, I only discovered your website as a result of trying to price a wiring harness for my vehicle. I had gone to the local store to get an estimate for installing a wiring harness on my 2010 Chevy Traverse, and was appalled that they wanted to charge me $79.99 for the wiring harness and then $100 labor!!! I couldn’t believe it – and went home and googled wiring harnesses, and I found your website among the search results. Right there on the page for my wiring harness was a 4-minute video with beautifully detailed instructions for how to install the harness on my vehicle.

Without hesitation, I ordered the part from your website, and days later I had it delivered to my door. I recently had knee surgery, so I enlisted the help of my 12-year-old daughter, who, after watching your instructional video, was ready to go... In no time at all, she had the wiring harness completely installed. Not only did she gain a sense of accomplishment, she also gained $10 to add to her piggy bank.

THANK YOU eTRAILER! I will be recommending you to everyone!

I purchased both a receiver hitch , Item # 75528 and the wiring harness. The hitch install would be like medium difficulty in my opinion! It required to drop the dual exhaust pipes so that you can move your tools in and around the hitch. Honestly it took several hours to loosen the rust that had build up throughout the years using wd40 and other things, so that the bolts that the hitch required for the install would fit! If it had been a new car with no rust, install would have been a breeze. The wiring harness, unfortunately, I misread the link the hitch recommended me to purchase! I called etrailer, girl said, It was a harness for a pre-existing manufacturers harness and so I had to replace it at my own expense! They recognized the issue and ordered the correct part. I received the new harness! It requires you to remove both rear break lamp housings! Got harness ran, when I realized the harness was short! I kept adjusting and checking to see if it was caught on something, but everything was fine. I got a revelation! The harness has cable ties wrapped around several areas of the harness! It comes like that from the manufacturer. I decided to cut one cable tie off and it stretch enough to reach the 2nd lamp housing. I used extra long cable ties, not supplied by supplier!, and tied any access harness to the tow hitch so that it isn’t hanging everywhere. But all in all it looks nice. Time consuming but nice.

i bought the package, hitch, harness and ball mount. the harness took
a couple hours, i had trouble getting the taillight assembly out of
my traverse, no fault of the product. installation was easy and perfect.
i recommend this product to all.

Part arrived quick and ahead of schedule. The install was less than an hour. Highly recommend.

Watch the [online] videos on how to install & follow the instructions. The hitch & wiring harness install exactly as described. Couldn't have asked for an easier install.

etrailer staff went out of their way to get the shipment shipped out late tuesday. arrived Friday evening. The installation video made the installation a snap. Installed in about 30 minutes by removing the taillight lenses and cafefully routing wires away from exaust and tie-wrapped to hitch. First quality wiring kit for 2010 Chevy traverse. Saved time and money. I am very pleased and will make eTrailer my first call for my trailer needs. I couldn't be happier.

The product is very simple to install and easy to use. I will be towing a pop up camper with my Buick Enclave and what i liked most about this wire harnes is that i did not have to cut any wires on my car the plugs fit perfectely and i was able to install it with in 10 mins.

Do you have a V92 towing package on your Enclave? I have a 2009 Enclave without a towing package and am looking to install a pop up camper as well. What is the weight of your pop up camper? What components did you install in order to tow the pop up camper? I just want to make sure I am not missing something. Thanks!

I can't say anything bad about the wiring harness for my trailer hitch. Along with the YouTube video that showed me how to do the install, this was about as easy as I can think it would be.

The connectors work perfectly - no issues with the brake or turn signal lights. The rubber cover for the connectors means that it is not dirty when I need to use it.

2017 BuickEnclave

Ordered a hitch for my 2012 Buick Enclave in August of 2017. The fit was perfect. I also ordered the wiring harness adapter. The wiring and hitch installation took less than 2 hours. I’ve been using it for a year now and everything is still working perfect. This is the third car that I’ve used an etrailer hitch on and I couldn’t be more satisfied.

the custom fit vehicle wiring harness works perfectly. No problems installing it, and no problems since. I have actually showed it off and showed how it is hooked up and got a lot of compliments on it especially for ease of installation.

by:

When I first installed the wiring harness the passenger side rear turn signal would not operate. This caused a number of other malfunctions, e.g. the ignition key could not be removed, the power windows would not operate, the power sunroof was inop., etc. It confused me as I did not know what had occurred to cause all these things to go wrong. After some online research I found that somehow the fuse had blown and caused all of the related malfunctions. Upon replacing the fuse all was well. I subsequently hooked onto a rental trailer, towed it near 1,700 miles and hitch and wiring system worked perfectly. In summary, even after an initial scare and anxiety over the blown fuse, I would definitely recommend your products.

by:

Great product! Was easy to install using the etrailer.com YouTube video. High quality product and a fair price. Couldn't be more pleased.

Still works great and I would buy it again. Very pleased a year later with this purchase.

I like the plug and play of this harness and particularly the install video . I ordered this harness on the 27th of July but hadn't received it after a couple weeks. I checked tracking and it showed shipped. I contacted support (quick reply) and they saw the same and offered to send another one if I still needed it.
I really appreciate that they were willing to send another one even though the fault the fault was beyond their control- it was lost in shipping. The package arrived yesterday but haven't opened the box yet as the harness won't be used till next month. I have a strong feeling that it will work as designed because of the courtesy and professionalism of this company to stand behind their product even though the first order being lost wasn't their fault.
Thank you for great customer service!

2012 Chevrolet Traverse

I have ordered from eTrailer before. Everything I have ordered from them has shipped fast and packed well. I also have seen their YouTube video's for installation on this hitch and wiring harness and that was what sold me on buying from them. It only took around 20 minutes or so to put this hitch and wiring harness on. Fit on our 2012 Chevy Traverse is excellent and until you remove the plastic hitch cover on the bumper you cant see it. I put a receiver hitch on all my vehicles and this has to be the easiest installs I have every done.

by:
2011 Chevrolet Traverse

I received the harness to wire my 2011 Chevy Traverse to tow my cargo trailer. The product came quickly, was well packaged, and the wires seemed durable. The harness plugs into the tail light connections so no splicing or any other electrical work is required. A screw had to be drilled into the sheet metal to ground the lights but that’s the only real work required other than removing and re-installing the tail light fixtures. After watching the installation video produced by eTrailer, I went out and had no issues installing the product. Excellent video! The product is great, but the best thing for a DIY install is the video demonstrating the installation. Excellent video and easy to install product.

2008 Buick Enclave - Trailer Wiring Kit - My vehicle had a tow hitch but no wiring When I purchased years ago. Install completed by 60 yr old female - was a bit hesitate to order online since I was clueless as to what I needed or how to install. Watched video looked “dummie proof”. Took a chance , kit arrived in reasonable time, was as simple as was depicted in video. 20-30 minutes , screwdriver and I had it installed, ready to tow. I am thrilled to have a product that is true to advertising. As most of us have experienced, not all companies are honest in their marketing. etrailer has earned my respect and humble gratitude for being an honest and reputable company and I will not hesitate to use again and also refer to friends and colleagues . Thank you, May God continue to bless you!

Was very easy to install after you turning how to remove my vehicles tail lights. Have used many times to pull my boat and atv trailer. Plug has worked every time and is still in great shape. Installed it in a Chevy traverse that I installed a after market hitch on.

Hitch and wiring harness arrived well packed and complete. The installation went great, exactly like the instructions and completed in less than an hour! Used it the next day with no problems. This is a great addition for my Buick Enclave allowing us to do minor hauling around home and added storage space on trips. The quality of the hitch exceeded expectations, good work!

  • What Is the Correct Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2011 Buick Enclave Without Tow Package
There is more than one correct trailer wiring harness for your 2011 Buick Enclave. That said, they each differ in quality. If you are looking for the best quality option then I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118450 which is plug and play as you can see in the attached install video. If you will be towing a trailer then you are also going to need a ball mount/hitch ball and for that we have the Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches part # 989900 which comes with everything you...

If you phone your Chevy dealer, they should be able to tell you the towing capacity of your Traverse based on its VIN. If you find that the fully loaded and ready to tow weight of the boat and trailer does not exceed the towing capacity of the vehicle, the only other thing I would consider essential would be an aftermarket transmission...

The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2011 Chevy Traverse is the Draw Tite hitch part # 75528 because it has the best capacity, is a 2 inch size which is most popular size for hitch accessories, and it installs very easily. I attached a video that shows it installed on a similar 2011 Traverse for you to check out as well. In addition to this you will need a 7-way. You can use part # 37185 from Hopkins; the 4-pole flat connector from the harness will plug directly into the Hopkins 7-way, which includes a mounting bracket.
