Can Fascia Door Be Reinstalled after Draw-Tite Hitch 75528 is Installed on 2010 Buick Enclave
Question:
I was looking at purchasing this hitch and a wiring harness for my 10 Enclave. I wanted to know if this hitch will fit behind the cover plate. Im assuming not the standard one but will it fit behind the cover of the Enclaves that have a hump in it for the hitch? Also, for the wiring it states that it is compatible with a six or seven pin connection, what is the part number for the adaptor and would that mean that a trailer with brakes would work? Already order a mat from you and love the website! Thanks

Once installed, the front face of the receiver will extend a bit too far rearward in order for the fascia door to be reinstalled.
From what I have been able to determine in my research, the other fascia door you mentioned (with the hump in it) can be obtained from your Buick dealer, but it is intended to work with the OEM hitch because the aftermarket hitch receiver tubes extend a bit further rearward.
So, you can install an aftermarket hitch and leave off the fascia door, or purchase the OEM hitch and use the fascia door designed for it. From what I read, the fascia door designed for use with the OEM hitch comes primered, and would need to be painted the body color.
If you want to tow a trailer equipped with electric brakes, you would need to first install the 4-pole connector # 118450. You would then need to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885 using our Brake Controller Installation Kit, part # ETBC7. The kit includes an adapter to convert the 4-pole into a 7-way.
I will link you to the installation instructions for the # 75528 hitch, for the # 118450 wiring and the # ETBC7 installation kit. I have also linked you to some installation videos for the hitch, wiring and brake controller install kit. The brake controller install video shows a controller being installed on a Chevy Express Van, but the procedure for your Enclave would be very similar.
