6,000-lb Capacity. These hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle to help stabilize and level your vehicle. They also provide a more comfortable ride by absorbing road shock and improving roll stability. Easy to install and use.

Whether you're hauling heavy loads in your bed or cargo area or you're towing a trailer, you will often see the rear of your vehicle sag while the front end rises. In these cases, the rear axle is handling not only the weight of the cargo, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Because less weight is on the front axle, the front tires are making less contact with the road. Overall handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above the rear axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down to where the bottom of the spring sits, 1" above the axle. The inch of clearance allows the existing factory suspension to operate normally under light loads and standard terrain, ensuring the smooth, comfortable ride that you are used to.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's side or passenger's side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you are hauling off-center loads.
Because the vehicle handles better with the springs, less turbulence will be passed along to the trailer, and this helps to keep the trailer in line. Your driving comfort is further enhanced if the trailer does begin to sway (from a gust of wind or a passing semi), because the movement from the trailer is not transferred to your vehicle. This also works to make the sway subside more quickly.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. And more elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride because the rubber has more travel.

Easy to install and use.very good product ,received just in time and fit perfectly on my GMC savana 2000 .Be sure to clean the two receptacle thats help.

The Timbren rear bump stops for 2020 Suburban were great quality and fit perfectly in the replacement of the original ones with no problems. The old ones pulled right out by hand with no hassle. When I installed the new ones I put 2x4 blocks that I cut underneath the bump stops. Then hooked up the 6,400 lbs travel trailer with about 750 lbs of tongue weight on it and they pressed right into place. The Suburban was more stable because it had less swaying while towing. I also gained about 1 inche more in the fender gap which means less rearend saging.
The rear suspension enhancement has made a big difference in towing - I have a 2020 Suburban with the tow package. I have a 5400 pd travel trailer(dry weight) which I assume is around 6400 pds loaded. I noticed a major difference in stability after adding these especially over rough pavement and bridges. The Timbrens have mitigated the rear axle slamming against the frame. I use an Equalizer hitch with the system and added loaded rated tires. The package works great. It’s a big improvement towing.
I bought these for my 2001 Chevy Suburban with a 5.3 V8 and four-wheel drive. These Springs have been absolutely amazing, on more than on one occasion I've loaded up three to four thousand pounds in the bed of my truck and the vehicle only sagged 2 in from the unloading height.
The Springs are better than I thought they would be and will absolutely be an addition to every work vehicle from now on.
I highly recommend them.

springs are holding up well, they still work like new.
2017 suburban. Easy to install but I used the handle of my floor jack to pry the new rubber into the cup as I wasn’t able to get it to stay by hand. Once started, I lowered onto wood blocks and it popped right in. The pictures show the original stop, installing the the new ones with wood, installed with 1” gap sitting with no external load, and loaded with the weight of my 33’ camper. They definitely help with sagging and a little with stability. It’s still more squirrelly than I like, but that may just be the towing properties of the suburban up against its max gross weight. Definitely recommend if you tow any weight with a suburban.
Installation was somewhat simple, had to raise the truck and lower quite a few times for it to settle in fully even with the 2x4 and lubrication. I hooked up my loaded trailer and it didnt squat as low as it did. My original bump stops were completely rotted away so I cant wait to try it on the road with these new ones
The difference between the factory bump stop and the Timbren system is phenomenal in both size and composition. The install went as planned per the instructions. Definitely a better ride now when loaded, including a Cargo Carrier on back with a loaded Kong Kooler. Definitely worth the time and effort to upgrade my Suburban!
2003 Suburban z71 4wd rear install. Removal of old bump stop was simple. Passenger Timbren install fairly easy but took some time to get seated fully. Driver side, different story. The harsh angle of the bump stop cup required numerous tries to seat it straight. Install took about 3 hrs in total. In hind sight I should have just pulled the tires. Do they work to reduce sag....100%
I have a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban that I intend to use as a replacement for my '99 Chevrolet heavy half ton Suburban. I will use it for my work vehicle as an electrical contractor. The new bump stops are a great solution for me to use my '04 half ton Suburban as a one ton Suburban. They were not as easy to install as the video, but they were not too difficult either.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System has worked out wonderfully for my 2004 Suburban. I use the vehicle as a work vehicle. I am an electrical contractor and haul about one ton of tools and supplies in it every day. It handles as if there is nothing in it.
Excellent product, made a big difference
Size difference shocked me. Towing my wakeboard boat is much easier with less drag on my 02 gmc Denali xl. I have mine lifted 3" and didn't need the spacers even though I bought them. I would recommend this product to anyone who tows and has vehicle drag. My picture says it all.
Installed on a 05 GMC Yukon. I went to put these in on a Saturday afternoon thinking I could do it in an hour or so. I was wrong. The stock bumper is 1/2 inch thick for the stock catch. The new is 1 inch thick. I used some silicone spray and cleaned the rust off the metal. I used the 2x4s as recommended and they slid right in. When I took the 2x4 out they slid right back out and I couldn't get them to stay in. I called customer service at 3 pm on Saturday and I was on hold for an hour and then hung up. After messing with this for 3 hours by that time I decided to just make it work. I ground notches into the top all the way around the same depth as the old bumper. Slid them in and they stayed. They sit direct on the stop and they do not have a 1 to 1 1/2 inch gap between them. Maybe I need new rear springs. Anyway they reduced body roll greatly ( I did the front at the same time). It rides much stiffer now, like my 01 F250, which is pretty rough. Does not squat with the trailer on though and makes for towing much better. Defiantly reduces sway. I will say this has been my worst experience with etrailer. I have purchased from them many times before but this one was just disappointing.
I own a 2006 GMC Yukon. We purchased a brand new 2017 32' Keystone Hideout Travel Trailer. The travel trailer remained well within our tow capacity when fully loaded. We also purchased and installed a weight distribution system. With all of these steps in place, the rear of our vehicle would sag. I purchased the Timbren SES Rear Suspension Enhancement System (Model TGMRG25C) from etrailer. The order arrived quickly within a few days. I was able to install myself in about 30 minutes. We just took the travel trailer out this past weekend. From the moment we hitched the trailer on, the difference was remarkable. No rear end sag at all. I would highly recommend this product.

A year later and the suspension enhancement system is working flawlessly.
Product went in fairly easy. Taking the spare out provides a lot of room to work in. A medium size flathead screwdriver worked perfect to get the old ones out. I put one in from the bottom underneath and the other from the outside over the tire. Liked that the best. I was able to hold the product with one hand and slowly lower the floor jack with the other.
Haven't given it a good test yet. So far would rate the product as excellent. Would rate etrailer as excellent.

Very happy with the product!! Highly recommend!!
Added these with a set 9f Monroe sensitive shocks on my express 1500 awd explorer conversion van. The pair has both raised the rear of the van. Stopped the bottoming out, and has a nice dampened feel over harsh bumps that used to bottom out the suspension.
Vast improvement when driving on rough roads. My SUV use to bottom out and feel loose. With these it doesn't feel nearly bad and the back end doesn't drop low when loaded.
They weren’t too bad to install. On my vehicle, 2001 suburban, they just slide into place, no bolting required. Seating them was a pain, but I got them in. The only thing I noticed is that I do not have clearance between the rubber stops and the axle pad once I put the suburban back on the ground. I haven’t towed yet, but I have notice that the ride is a little stiffer and the handling is much better..no roll. Service and delivery was great. I’ll buy from this company again.

They have been great. Since there is no gap between the bumpers and the axle pad, our ride is a bit stiff. They really helped the handling while towing.
I installed these on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe just over a year ago and they are still fantastic. If your truck is banging or feels like a boat going down the road, I highly recommend installing the Timbren system. I did it myself in under an hour and what a difference.
Thank you etrailer!!!.

Still 5 Stars!!! I run a mobile locksmith business and carry over a 1000 lbs in tools and product and the Timbrens are still working great. My Tahoe rides as smooth as ever!!!
Installation was simple and I love the way these don't affect my vehicles comfort when it's not loaded. When it's loaded down its not squatting and handles perfectly. I've had Firestone air lift shocks before and won't have them again. You have to keep a minimum of 10 psi in them and it made my truck bounce like a basketball ball when it hit a bump. I highly recommend this product.
Love the support when I load my car trailer up. Ride with the empty trailer is good also. I have not tried it with the truck without trailer hooked to it. But I am 100% happy with the way it’s supports the rear.

Little bit of a ruff ride without my trailer hooked to it but not to bad. Would still recommend to anyone. Supports the trailer 10x better than without.
My 2003 suburban would bottom out a lot when towing. I didn’t want to do air bags so I tried this. I really needed these as my original bump stops were rotted out and these made all the difference in towing . Great product even after a year of using them .
the product was exactly as advertized and installed easily when i used hand soap for lubricant i haven't hooked to my trailer yet but the difference between the stock parts and these is amazing

Great I would would recommend it to anyone
As an trailer employee who owns a truck and a small farm I have had the opportunity to test several different suspension products. I kept the Timbren on my truck for several different reasons. First they are maintenance free. Second they do not affect the unloaded ride of my truck. Third they were the best at handling the heavier loads I tow because of the farm. Finally when towing a trailer or with a heavy load in the bed the body roll is noticeably reduced in the curves on two lane roads.
Mine have been on the truck for several years now and they perform like the day they were installed
Good option for my vehicle, fast delive ry!!
Should have been original equipment instead of the wimpy thing GM provided on my 2002 Tahoe. Along with adding a 10,000 pound tow bar (more than I tow, but wanted the strength), I can confidently tow a two horse bumper pull. Ride without the trailer is also greatly improved. Highly recommended.
