Can SumoSprings Be Added To 2002 Chevrolet 4WD Tahoe With Front And Rear Timbrens In Place
Question:
I have timbrens fromt and rear on my 2002 tahoe 4wd and they work well but can be bouncy. Will the sumosprings make a difference?

The first thing you will want to do is inspect your suspension system to make sure it is in good working order. If you have a weak suspension and relying on the Timbrens you already have installed, you will get more bounce than normal. The Timbrens are intended to help with a properly working system to help add support when carrying heavy loads.
I called my contact at Timbren and they told me that adding additional support to the rear coil springs on your Tahoe like part # CSS-1094R will not affect the support the Timbrens provide. The SumoSprings will stiffen as more weight is added.
You will always want to make sure you do not exceed the weight carrying capacity of the vehicle. Any of the suspension enhancement systems are not intended to increase the load-carrying capacity of a vehicle.
