Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Peterson Red Rectangle LED Clearance or Side Marker Light with Reflector. This P2 rated LED Trailer Light is going to function as a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted. The built-in reflex reflector is going to remove the need for a separate reflector. And as you can see, I already have this connected to 12-volt power and you can see what this looks like with my studio lights on.

But let me go ahead and turn my studio lights off just to give you a better indication of what this is going to look like in the dark, low light situations. And let me zoom out here just so you can get a a better view. And I'm gonna shine this on the wall here behind me. Now as you know, LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last 50 times longer, and they're more efficient, and they're gonna be providing a brighter light with less power output.

So there's no bulbs to replace. No brittle filaments to worry about. And this is a red lens over two white LEDs. So let me go ahead and turn my studio lights back on here, and I'm gonna go ahead and disconnect this from power and give you a view of the back here. This is going to be compatible with your 12-volts DC systems.

This is a two-wire design. So the black wire is going to be your power lead, and then your white wire with this ring terminal is gonna be your ground wire. And this has a power draw of 0.04 amps on a 12-volt power. And the durable SMD construction of the LED Circuit Board is going to better withstand shock and vibration. It's going to allow for improved heat distribution and thinner construction.

As you can see, you're gonna stud mount this light to your trailer with the included stud. This can also be surface mounted with two screws, and those screws are sold separately. It's not included with this light. This is DOT-compliant. Let me retrieve my ruler here, and leave you with some overall measurements, and it's probably gonna be easier to measure this from the back here. So looking at the overall all length, we are sitting right at three and one eighth inches long. The overall height. See if I can. There we go. We're sitting right at two inches high. Two inches tall. And then the overall depth of the light itself. We're sitting at almost an inch. Let's call it at about 15, 16 of an inch deep. Well that's gonna wrap up our brief look today.
