Today we're going to be taking a look at the Oralite red reflector. This red reflector makes your truck or trailer more visible to other drivers. This is designed for use on the side or rear of your truck, trailer or equipment. It's made from a tough, polyester construction and it's going to feature the adhesive backing so it functions as a sticker. Just peel that off and apply it to mounting surface, makes installation quick and easy. It is SAE and Department of Transportation compliant. It meets FMVSS requirements for reflex reflectors when properly mounted.
It's also SAEJ578 and J594 compliant and the product is made in the USA. Taking a look at the diameter you can see that the reflector itself is going to measure three inches, and that's the diameter of the unit and with this part number you're going to get one reflector. That's going to do it for today's look at the Oralite red reflector.

Simple installation with adhesive backing. SAE J578 and J594 compliant.Item was not what I expected. I thought I was buying a firm plastic reflector with a glue-on back. This is just a sticker type refector with a sticky backing affixed to paper...appears to be torn off a roll of similar stickers. Looking back at the description more closely, I can see how I made my mistake. However, it is not as robust as I need.
Does the job
Love the reflectiveness of these, if you have had the hard plastic ones you know the adhesive sticks to the surface really well but not hard plastic. You wind up with a white spot that is hard to get off and no reflector!
These work great on the back of my trailer, with no grief!
These reflectors are pitiful, when I see others for almost the same price which have a adhesive backing on a hard surface. These are worth about $.xx each.

If you are looking for an acrylic style reflector I recommend part # RE21RB. This optrontics 3 3/16 round reflector is made of a durable acrylic construction and has an adhesive back.
