Today we're going to be taking a look at the CE Smith U-Bolt Plate for Trailer Suspension Systems. The U-Bolt plate is going to help secure a three inch diameter axle to a one and three quarter inch wide leash frame. We can tell that it's designed for a one and three quarter inch wide leash spring by taking a measurement. The distance that we have between these holes right here is going to be the same as the distance between these two holes. That's where we're going to get that one and three quarter inch measurement from. This does require two half inch diameter U-Bolts. U-Bolts are sold separately but if you're in need of those, you can find them here at etrailer.com.
The four outer holes are designed to accept half inch diameter bolts. The unit's made from a galvanized steel. It's very strong and durable as well as corrosion resistant. It's going to be great for use on boat trailers or any application that's exposed to moisture. This product is made in the USA.
