Today we're going to be taking a look at the Square Pipe Mount Swivel Jack with the included Footplate. This utility jack is going to let you raise and lower your trailer. It's going to have a lift capacity of 3,000 pounds and a support capacity of 5,000 pounds. This does feature the tubular swivel design, that's going to let you swing the jack up along the trailer frame for a nice storage design or in travel. Or you can break it back down to a usable position when you're ready to use the jack. It does come with the pull pin, that's going to hold the jack in either one of those position.

It's going to have the chain lanyard that's going to connect the pin to the jack so you don't have to worry about misplacing that or losing it. It's going to come with the weld-on pipe mount. This is included, its got an outer diameter of 2", so outer edge to outer edge is 2". This is the piece that gets welded on to the frame of your trailer. Its got four holes in it, those holes match up with the holes going around the pipe attached to the jack. That way these two pieces can or that jack can rotate on the welded arm piece to move to the stowed position or back down for use.

Then very simple to re-secure it, and whatever position you want, just do that by reinstalling the pin. The square jack is going to provides more side-load capacity when compared to round-tube jacks. This one's going to feature a nice topwind handle. It's got a very easy to use comfortable claw grip. It allows for easy cranking.

One of the neat things I like about this jack is that the handle can actually be rotated over or flipped over to a stowed position. That's a nice design of this handle mechanism. Now, when we take a measurement of the handle radius. I'm going to take a measurement from the center of where it mounts to the outer edge of the hand grip, or to that claw grip. That's going to give us a measurement of about 9 1/2", so handle radius is 9 1/2". I'm just going to go and use it a little bit, that way you can see just how easy the jack is to use when it comes to raising and lowering.

It's got a nice consistent design. It feels very smooth, I don't feel any kinking or binding. Pretty consistent, seamless operation when it comes to raising and lowering the jack. Now, the jack is going to be made from a steel construction, so the outer tube is going to have a really nice black powder coat finish on it to resist rust and corrosion. The inner tube as well as the footplate's going to have a clear zinc finish on it. That's going to be highly resistant for rust and corrosion as well. The footplate is going to be welded to the bottom of the inner tube. The footplate is going to give us an overall length measurement of about 7 1/2". The overall width measurement of about right around 3 7/8". That's a really nice size for this jack. It's going to do a great job at spreading out the applied weight. Especially on softer ground to prevent sinking, and it's also going to increase overall stability. Now, maintenance is also very simple with this jack. We have a built-in grease zerk fitting. That way you can attach your grease gun, pump the grease in and that's going to lubricate the internal components. Few other measurements I want to give you. I want to take a look at the bracket height. That's going to be measuring from the bottom of the footplate to the center of that weld-on pipe. With it as low as it will go, so this is the fully retracted position. That measurement is going to give us a measurement of about 14 7/8". Now, when we did that measurement with the jack fully extended, that increased to 30 3/8" or 30 3/8". That's going to give this jack a travel or a total lift of about 13 1/2". The outer tube on the jack is a square design, so that's going to measure 2 1/4 x 2 1/4". The inner tube is also a square design, so that's going to measure 2" x 2".
