Shipping was good received in about 4 to 5 days. Does fit the trail edition outlander sport just have to drop an extra part out of the way. Maybe 4 wheel drive box?. It's on the driver's side. Install driver's side 1st it will save alot of headache.

Easy to install and fits well. I like the look, however my product came with quite a few significant scratches. Yes I know it’s a hitch and will get beat up, but I would have liked to receive what looks like a new product.

This trailer hitch has helped us tremendously with getting our gifts back last Christmas and again this year. I was convinced by the many reviews submitted and the great instructions and video on the website to get this hitch. The initial installation was a breeze but my progress ground to a long slog trying to tighten the bolts. Certainly not the hitches fault.... the amount of space to successfully tighten the bolts in the Outlander sport made it extremely difficult. They certainly crammed in a lot of material in the area. Admittedly, I didn't have advanced tools that could let me get into those nooks and cranny's but it went from 15 minutes to about an hour and a half. In the end, I managed to tighten the bolts and OMG this thing looks perfect. Looks like it's stock. The material and paint job are top notch and super high quality, especially for the price. Thank you Etrailer!!!! Great product and most importantly great intruction materials and video!

Fast shipping, well packaged. Easy to install with instructions supplied and video on website. Installation time was around 1 hour until I gathered all my tools and put the car up on ramps. Really straight forward with only having to install with 6 bolts. I love the tubular shape as it looks sharp on vehicle. I installed this to put on a cargo carrier which gives us lots more cargo space when traveling. I highly recommend purchasing your hitch from etrailer!

Perfect fit for my 2022 Outlander Sport. The install took about 30 mins in my driveway with basic sockets. I watched the video on the install and it bolted on exactly how the video showed. The hitch receiver sits flush with the number for a clean looking install.

Excellent company! I needed a hitch to tow a trailer very quickly due to an emergency. I was going to get one from uhaul, but they had a huge wait time, and 135$ installation fee. I searched their product, and searching for Curt brought me to etrailer. I did the install alone in my carport, no special lifts, and only a few tools are needed which I had in the garage. I also bought the wiring harness, and ball, total installation time for me was 1 hr. This thing is super solid, welds are perfect, and I have no hesitation to tow a small trailer 2000 miles. It’s going to be great for a cargo rack and bike rack when I’m ready. I paid extra for two day shipping, a bit expensive, but I needed it fast. It was here in 24 hours, and fit perfect and I have nothing to say but, choose etrailer!

This is the second Curt trailer hitch that I've purchased from etrailer. The trailer hitch is great. Solid welds and great coating on the metal. First one lasted several years and and went with my previous car. I couldn't wait to order one for my new car. The best part is that etrailer has clear videos on how to do the install. We had it installed in less than 30 minutes!

This hitch is a perfect fit on my outlander sport. Took about 15 minutes to install including prep. I got this hitch to use with a bike rack. The other reason I got it, is because it looks great on the car. Gives it an aggressive and clean look.

The vertical plates, the plates welded to the tubing, were both bent. leaving a total space of 1 1/8" between the chassis beams of the car and the plates. This interfered with the silencer connecting points. The 30 minutes installation time as stated by you worked out to be more than 4 hours. You recommended removing the side panel to connect the wiring. Did you ever try this? It worked out that it is much easier to connect in the space of the taillight housing and hide the wires under the trimming.

Hitch was Easy to install. YouTube videos helped. One thing that gave me a problem was the nut to screw into weld hole. It took quite a bit of persuading but it worked.
The bike rack was very simple and works great.

Overall very pleased with my purchase. Tow hitch is of very good quality and hardware was nice as well. Instructions and video made it very easy to put on and only took about 30 mins. Only complaint is packing could’ve been slightly better but other then that very happy with it!

Product was delivered quickly, within three days of order placement. It arrived in good condition, though one end of the hitch had worn through the cardboard box during transit. The hitch was not damaged as a result. Installation was easily completed within 45 minutes without assistance.

Other than the scratch on the front of the hitch from careless shipping UPS, the installation was very easy and without a hitch, (pun intended). I fixed the scratch with glossy spray paint.

The trailer hitch is nicely built. The installation was a tight fit. But to me, that meant the hitch is set well in place. The shipping was slow but it was worth the wait
