Only qualm I have is the coating on the threads inside of the receiver made it very difficult to seat the bolts.
Not sure why all Ram trucks or any truck wouldn't come outfitted from the factory with a receiver? This solution was the perfect fit and surely cheaper than going to a dealer.
Absolutely horrible experience. Said it would be delivered 2 weeks ago. Shipped it to California and I live in Massachusetts. When I called they said they would look into it and get back to me. Never heard from them. Got an email saying my package was delivered when it still showed in California. Ask again for someone to call and give me some sort of answer, no response.
This company has horrible communication. I would never buy anything from them again. Don’t use this company ever unless you just want to hope and pray your items show up at some point because they won’t be there when they say they will.
Product looks good when opening package, welds look good, finish is fine but the large 3/4 inch bolt has damaged threads,
the 3/4 inch internal threads on the receiver are damaged and
rusty. The only way to properly install this defective unit would be to run a 3/4 inch tap ( expensive tool) into internal threads and replace 3/4 inch bolt or clean/repair threads with a thread file or 3/4 inch die (expensive tools). This is unacceptable. FYI, I am a large equipment mechanic by trade and I would not install this product on a customer vehicle, let
alone my brand new truck
The large 3/4-10 thread on the receiver hitch was not machined correctly to allow the bolt to be used, also both half-inch 13 threaded holes were unusable and needed to be re-tapped. etrailer did refund the expedite shipping, however, this disrupted the trip I had planned due to the fact I had to go out and purchase taps for both of these holes. etrailer should verify thread quality by ensuring these bolts are able to be used on the tapped holes before selling their product to other customers. Next time I will stick with a known brand like Curt.

This the wrong one. The top nut is to big and the back bracket does not have anything to Connect to I will need two return product shipping labels please
Fit well, easy to install. Make sure you have a very high quality 1/2" hex driver - I used one from an impact set - and a beast of a torque wrench as this requires 320lbs of torque!

Still good after a year!
I tried screwing the large bolt into the hole with an Allen wrench and could only get about 4 turns on it. I'm going to chase the threads on the bolt and the blind hole before I try installing it on my vehicle.
I had bought a new truck that only came with the receiver, no tube for the ball. Thank you to etrailer for having this item. This has made trailering easy!!!!

I have gotten some confirmation that this is only a confirmed fit for the 2019 Ram 1500 with a Class III tow bumper. This will not fit the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic.

Great product
Works as advertised. Easy to install.
So easy to install. Almost too easy but has performed perfectly as designed.
I followed the directions on the instructional video, and the hitch was very easy to install after pre-tightening the bolts.
Easy to order everything fit perfectly installation was easy
Ran into 1 hiccup... the top bolt wasn't machined correctly and didn't fit..(actually started damaging threads at the edge of opening). Went to my local hardware store and purchased a replacement bolt based on specs that came with instructions.. other than that issue install took 10 min at most and it fit perfectly.
The shipping is excellent! I have purchased full-size pickup frame hitches for decades. I recently purchased a frame/bumper style. It is dramatically less expensive/smaller and installs in ten minutes. What a saving.
Now it fits perfectly on my 22 ram 1500. Only gave a 4 due to the fact that there was a hunk of slag from manufacture process on the inside of the channel so my 2 in hitch would not slide in. Several hits with a good chisel and a heavy hammer took care of it and now fits the way it should.

Great product. Excellent response and delivery time.
Hitch literally goes on in minutes with no fuss as long as you follow the video and start bolts to clean out threads before putting on. I borrowed local mechanics torque wrench for the finishing tightening and appearance is great as well.

I can tell that you this happens time to time with these hitches. Sometimes the powder coating is too thick in the top hole which can mess up the threads. A tap is one way to correct it. I do see that our Customer Service team has sent out a replacement for you.
