Load Carrying Capacity of Draw-Tite DT45508 Trailer Hitch for Ford Super Duty Pickups
Question:
What is the dead weight capacity of this reciever towing and tongue wt. without using a weight distributing hitch? Does it just bolt on?

The weight carrying capacity of the Draw-Tite DT45508 Trailer Hitch is 18,000 pounds towing and 2,000 pounds tongue weight capacity. With weight distribution the trailer weight capacity remains 18,000 pounds and the tongue weight is increased to 2,500 pounds (see link).
This is a bolt-on application and requires relocation of a factory electrical bracket and vibration damper on vehicles so equipped. Hitch is a fit for trucks with the HD suspension only.
