Frame Bolts Used to Install the Draw-Tite Hitch on a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan
Question:
2007 grand caravan i was going to order this hitch 75305 looked under van and the 12mm frame bolts were missing. I just got this van to tow my camper dealer ha no clue about these bolts. Could you give me any info about the bolt. Yes its a 12 mm i tried some from napa but no go . Any help would be great. Thanks

As you mentioned, the installation of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75305 requires that you reuse two M10 and M12 bolts that should already be present in the frame rail. The only information I have on these bolts is just that, the diameter. I unfortunately do not have any additional info that pertains to thread pitch and length.
However, if you speak to the parts rep at the dealer then I am sure they would have this info and a part number for you. I would try to call more than one and make sure you are speaking with a parts rep. If they still are not able to locate this information then you can either go to a hardware store and get a few different M10 and M12 bolts to try or you could just go to the junkyard and snag a few for yourself. Don't forget to bring a breaker bar and lubricant if this is the route you go as they will more than likely be stuck in there pretty good.
