Product arrived on time and online videos were very helpful. I got some Rhino ramps to raise the back of my 2012 Toyota Prius C and got the job done in 30 minutes.

Have used this for a year now to transport 2 bicycles. We have used in at least once a week without issues.
Just installed and everything seems great. I got this hitch to hold a 50lb bike rack with a couple of mountain bikes on the back and everything fit together great. Did the install by myself with a 12mm and 1/2” socket and some ingenuity to get those stupid plastic pins undone on the skid plate/bumper.
The holes lined up great with a little wiggling and the 1.25 bike rack slid in no problems. No wobble or shake due to the hitch.
Mounted and fits as expected on 2014 Prius C. 4 stars because my hands were too big to thread the upper bolts by hand once the receiver was mounted on the lower bolts. The wider bar equals less room to get up inside the sides of the receiver bar next to the mounts (2 inches width). My wife with her smaller hands was able to thread the upper bolts for me. Fast shipping and good customer service.
Had an issue with install, but strainer worked with me and got my issue fixed! Fast and easy install. Battery operated ratchet is a must! Great hitch for my 2016 Prius C!

No issues works great
Reduce your packaging, It was 3x larger than it needs to be. Wasteful!!
The product was delivered on the date announced.
It was a perfect fit.
Upper bolt installation was difficult.
Suggestion: Instructions say to remove clips holding the the plastic appearance panels. There is a small center panel underneath that is easily removed (and not re-used).
However, the other panel is the entire exterior rear plastic bumper, that wraps around each side and is part of the rear fender and quarter panel, so it cannot be easily removed. And, I didn't want to attempt to bend it out of the way, as this might damage it or the paint. So, straight in access to the fastening points for the receiver is not available.
Consequence: It is almost impossible to engage the threads of the upper two 8mm bolts fastening the receiver in place into the threaded holes on the vehicle (it was 30 minutes for two bolts, only because I have a large variety of offset wrenches and other tools) .
Suggestion: evaluate the possibility of using threaded studs that can be installed before raising the receiver into place, or, threading bolts through from the backside of the vehicle frame member. This way, the receiver can slip onto the stud or bolt, and then washers and nuts can be installed (a much easier process).

After a year, our receiver is doing its job as advertised. We even towed our utility trailer with a very light load in it: This is a Prius, after all!.
Ordered a hitch for our Prius C so we could install a nice bike rack. Rack arrived in 2 days, and installation was done in under 15 minutes after watching the instructional video before we ordered. I'm a Mercedes-Benz technician, so I have access to a lift and all my tools. Even for an amateur in their driveway, this install would take maybe 30 minutes with some basic tools and no experience.
Highly recommend Etrailer if you need to get a hitch for your car or truck.

Been using the hitch for a full year with our two bike tray rack and havent had any issues. The rack hasnt been out of the receiver for the entire time and we havent even had to tighten a bolt. I did use blue Locktite on the threads that mount the hitch to the cars frame. I would recommend this on any bolt that attaches a structural piece of equipment to a cars frame [DO NOT use red Locktite or you wont get it off without a torch : ]. I would definitely recommend this receiver hitch for any bike rack or lightly loaded cargo tray for your Prius C.
Installation was straightforward and all mounting hardware and tools were included. No problems with the hitch except it does have quite a bit of flex with a platform rack and two bikes which causes rack to bounce over bumps. Flex is not bad with one bike loaded, though I would buy a sturdier hitch for any more weight.

Product works exactly as intended. I've had no issues with it.
Installation was certainly more than "15 minutes" and I had to buy a powered ratchet wrench because the space was too tight for a socket wrench. But considering how hard it was to mount, it would be nearly impossible for anyone to steal the thing.
I have owned this hitch receiver for about a year now. The install was super easy as it just bolted on using existing holes and no cutting was necessary. I use a hitch mounted cargo carrier weekly on this for trips to the dump (no local trash pick up) and have towed a small uhaul with it a couple of times. All uses have performed excellently.
I bought this hitch receiver for my 2013 Prius C a year ago, and it has been a game-changer for my lifestyle. No longer do I have problems toting my bike on the back of my car. Thanks to this receiver, I was able to get a high quality bike rack that I can use on my car. Would recommend for those with a similar situation.
Overall I am very happy with the installed product so I believe it’s worth a positive review. Shipping was fast and the instructional material & videos dead simple and easy to follow. Though I was occasionally wishing I had smaller hands!
That said, I did have a couple issues during the install:
1.) The hole pattern did not align with my 2012 Prius C, my car was somewhere around 1/8” narrower than the hitch. I ended up having to slot the holes on the right side so I had enough play to get the bolts in. This would have been easier to do if I had a mill but I had to make do with a file. Once this was done the install was a breeze.
2. The left side of the hitch has a stiffening rod welded on, but the bead was too close to the lower hole and the lock washer could not seat flush with the plate. I just swapped with a slightly smaller diameter lock washer.
Trailer hitch came within a few days of ordering for my Prius C (2013). The installation of this hitch was straight forward provided from etrailer's website. Got it on within an hour, and has been working perfectly ever since. I am very happy with ordering from etrailer.
Bought this trailer hitch a year ago in order to install a hitch bike rack on my Prius C. Ordering from eTrailer was very efficient and the hitch arrived promptly--very pleased with the service.
The first thing about purchasing a hitch from you was savings, my son and I were able to install it with very little problem. Once on the car, we were able to torque to proper setting. A bit tight where the bolts attached, but that would have been a problem for anyone. Super pleased with the hitch and it works as designed for my car.
Recently purchased model 24971 draw-tite hitch for a 2016 Prius C. In 2017 I had purchased a 24826 draw -tite hitch and Swagman XTC-2 bike carrier for a 2012 Honda fit. Quality of the 3 items is well worth the price. Delivery time was excellent. I am a driveway / car ramp mechanic . Installation was not overly complicated, The Honda fit installation took about one hour and the Prius C took an hour and a half due to the multiple plastic fascia that had to be removed and reinstalled. I viewed well produced installation videos for both before installation ,which were very helpful. Since I worked alone on the installations a jack was used to support the hitch while installing them. I am pleased with the products.
I installed this on a 2016 Toyota Prius C.
Once installed, this hitch is rock solid and quite discrete. The fit is very exacting, with little to no wiggle-room, making it necessary to install the two uppermost bolts prior to the lower two. I learned this after hours of trying the lower ones first. Hopefully, knowing this will save someone a lot of time.
It installed nicely. The only issue I had was the push pins kept breaking off since they were brittle. Nothing to do with the hitch. Fit perfectly and the bike holder I got is really nice. Looks of high quality. I've hooked it all up but haven't had time to use it. Hope to take the bikes to the trails this weekend since I sold my truck. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It was better than I expected for the price.
Great hitch and wiring. Fast service. Sold car with it now in inventory. Yours for a call tag! Used once to tow 300 lbs. Of wood.
The trailer hitch fit perfectly. The only problem I had was trying to get the top bolt in, it is a small area. A right angled air wrench would have worked really well but I didn't have one.
