Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2014 Toyota Prius C
Question:
Will this fit my 2014 Toyota Prius C? Also, what would be the best bike rack option to hold 2 bikes far enough away to not scratch my brand new car :-

Trailer hitch # 24971 does fit your 2014 Toyota Prius c model. Once installed the receiver will not be recessed too far beneath the Prius c which is great because that means all of the compatible bike racks will clear the rear of the vehicle without worry of scratching it.
For a 2-bike rack that is compatible I recommend the Thule Camber, # TH9058, for a hanging rack. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.
For a platform style rack the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670 is a popular option. It measures 8 inches from the center of the pin hole to the nearest wheel hoop. This rack holds the bikes at the wheels and frame. It also has a rise in the shank for additional ground clearance. I have linked a video review of this rack as well.
If you go with the Vertex or any hanging rack and will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
