The shipping time was great, also! I use it for a bike that connects to the hitch, which works great.
Take a look at the pictures. The receiver has chipped and missing paint in many places. This was supposed to be powder coated, right. This receiver is scratched and was not damaged in shipping, I'm betting it was shipped from your warehouse this way. No paint chips in the box. Could barely read the instructions, pictures were illegible, probably been wet at some point. I didn't want to go through the process of a return, so repainted myself. I feel I should receive compensation for accepting this. Being from Missouri, I expected more from you guys.
I'm very impressed with this hitch! It was relatively easy to install seeing as I've never done alterations to my own car before. I did not have to lower the exhaust - was able to slide the hitch into position and secure it just fine. Cutting the holes in the plastic panel from under the car was a little challenging as the instructions don't give measurements for placement, only size. Was able to use plastic shears just fine, didn't need to break out the rotary tool. The hitch feels very secure and is relatively low-profile (see photos). I purchased this hitch specifically for carrying a tray-style bike rack and it works perfectly for that. Holds the bikes fairly high, so I don't have to worry about scrapage in dips and driveways. Overall, very pleased!

Extremely easy installation! The video they provided has everything you need to install it! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a hitch receiver!
Bought this for my IM. Going to use it for a bike rack is all. I chose the draw tight over the curt because of it"s weight. It was lighter than the curt and since I will be towing nothing with this car it was perfect for my situation. Love dealing with etrailer, this is my fourth order with them and I have no complaints!!

No complaints, It works perfectly for hauling the bikes around!
I installed this hitch on my ‘17 Toyota Corolla iM. Installation was a breeze. Having a helper is useful, but I did it on my own without much trouble. Looks great and almost unnoticeable. Just a note: I did not need to remove the muffler from the support bracket. I recommend and would buy again. Customer service is A-plus!

Toyota Corolla iM 2017 Excellent! Still solidly mounted. No rattles, and it has exceeded my expectations.
Packaging was terrible. Was going to install this weekend but the harness package was shipped loose in the box. Destroyed the harnesss and now have to wait for a replacement. Hitch is not secured in box and has scratches but so far isn’t bent that we see. Customer service was fast and fixing the issue, but I shouldn’t have had to deal with it IF the shipping department put any effort into securing the hitch or harness. Not one piece of padding or bubble wrap to be found!!!! For as much as things cost these days, I’d expect better service. See pictures of chaos inside a oversized box….are they fixing this? YES but letting y’all know that you may be delayed on installing due to damages.
Perfect fit out of the box! Everything was included. Lowering the muffler was not required, simply slipped in place. Easy access for torque wrench I always use a floor jack to position the hitch. Cutting the bottom plastic panels required some adjustment from the instructions.
I received great customer service, the price of the product was reasonable and it was delivered quickly.
I’ve had this hitch for a year now. It was really easy to install and has worked perfectly to hold my bike rack. Can’t recommend it enough. I like how it’s pretty discreet when not in use. It’s tucked under the bumper and not very obvious.
Just installed the 24952 Draw-Tite hitch on my 2017, Corolla iM. It was an easy install with the help of the related video. Just FYI, you do not need an auto lift, or jack stands for this install. The cold garage floor works fine.
Also, I did not have to release the muffler clamp to gain access to the two mounting holes on the passenger side, as shown in the directions, or the video. I was able to install the two bolts with a ratchet wrench, and a six inch extension. This includes using the torque wrench! Again, this is for the 2017 Corolla iM, I can't speak for other vehicles. etrailer is the best...Great prices and great customer service!
Nicely made, very stout and fits perfectly. As other reviewers noted, you don't need to drop the muffler to install. The most difficult part was working the plastic panel back into place. The photo shows where to trim for the hitch. The other cutout needed is where the existing tow hook protrudes thru the panel - I widened the existing cutout, but did not bring that cut all the way to the back edge as the instructions show. The instructions say to remove the tow hook, but I think you could put back on after mounting the hitch if you wanted to.
The hitch was shipped quickly and it arrived here in good shape. All the necessary hardware was included and the directions were very clear and accurate. Just a note, I was able to install the hitch without dropping the exhaust. I was able slide the hitch in place and reach the bolts with a socket and an extension. Total time was about 45 minutes and that included cutting the plastic pan a couple of times. I am pleased with the product and the install.
The hitch and wiring arrived on schedule and were very straightforward to install. The instruction video was an excellent guide.
