Great product. I bought a hitch for my 1995 Blazer and i recieved it sooner than they said it would arrive and it fit perfect with no problems at all. A great price too. I will definitely by from them again next time I need another hitch for another vehicle. It did take a few more minutes to install than the instructions said but heck I'm 66 years old and was doing it alone. That's on me . I'm slower than I used to be. Thanks for a great product. I'll recommend them to every one that needs a well built easy to install fair priced hitch. Thanks guys.

I am still very happy with your product, and you and your customers should know that the hitch kit I purchased has been perfect for all my needs. I have a small utility trailer I use at least monthly and a rack I also use and everythings been great and have had no problems with anything fitting or coming loose. The hitch fits high and tight just like it should and I couldnt be happier with it. The finish and paint Is great also. I recommend this product to everyone that want a great fitting, easy to install, dependable, hitch for whatever their needs are. Im 67 years old and was able to install it myself with ease. Thanks for making such a great product.

Love Kurt hitches very well made And I'll always buy from etrailer Talk about 15 minutes to install

by:

I ordered and installed a C13020 curt tow hitch by myself! Here are Pic's and how I did it.

by:
1998 GMC Jimmy

The receiver hitch arrived in only three days after ordering (with free shipping!) The hitch fit perfectly and took less than 40 minutes to install start to finish. The online instructional videos were very helpful, and made me confident that it would be an easy install. Overall a great buying experience.

Still very happy with it, and would purchase from etrailer.com again.

2002 Chevrolet Blazer

Although 2 people would have been better I was able to install it by myself with the help of a floor jack.
Took about 90 minutes to install and no it wasn't because I did it myself.
The two bolts next to each other went in and torqued down OK. The problem was with the square hole spacer that covers the large hole. The spacer, in my instance, is not large enough and spun around when I tried to torque it down. It was easy enough to remedy by using a large nut and wedging it in next to the spacer.
Looks great and makes towing my trailer much easier. I was using the bumper hitch on my Blazer but it was higher and made the front of the trailer higher, now the trailer is more on a level plane.

2002 Chevrolet Blazer

Fit on 2002 Chevrolet Blazer S-10 as described. It is not stated in instructions, but I used thread sealant to help ensure bolts stay tight.

No issues. All is great.

Excellent trailer hitch. Very sturdy and solid all the way through. Easy install fit vehicle great no problems even a year later. Made my vehicle towing capable widens capabilities.

by:

I ordered two hitches, only one of which had the necessary bolts/mounting hardware included. When I called to report this, it took three more business days for them to bother shipping this out. It then took over a week to receive this. Very poor customer service. Highly disappointed.

by:
2000 Chevrolet Blazer

Installation is straightforward, and the setup is rock solid. My usage is split 50/50 between towing trailers and getting pulled out of mudholes. It serves both purposes great!

by:
1999 Chevrolet Blazer

Can't thank the folks enough at etrailer.com! Got my hitch that i ordered quick & unharmed! I just got it installed today! Install took more than 10 minutes but, i didn't have to remove my bumper like i did on my S10! Highly recommend!

by:
2010 Chevrolet Blazer

Product literature says "Installation time- 10 minutes". My Blazer had a bumper hitch so I had to remove the bolts first. They were tough to get to with fuel lines in the way and dirt falling down in my eyes. They were held in with locktite. It me took 2 1/2 hours. Now that it is done, it works great.

by:
1999 Chevrolet Blazer

Once I got everything ready to open the box and put on this receiver everything went on like a breeze. Had to get some help from the Missus to push the first bolt through while I held the receiver in place but after that I got the rest in myself. If I were to change anything about this product it would be to make the bolts a bit shorter to make it easier to get up in the tight spots to pop the bolts in but it is still doable as/is.

VERY satisfied and e-trailer are awesome taking care of their customers!

1996 GMC Jimmy

You say 10 mins to install! We all laughed about that - but it's OK. It took the best part of an hour with kids helping. However, we are very pleased with the result. It's a great product and very reasonably priced. Delivery time was surprisingly quick . My only issue is that there were no instructions with the wiring harness package.

by:

Perfect fit , easy and quick insulation, exactly what I was looking for. and the best price I found, two capacity 5000 lb witch more than the hitches that I found in a local store in NJ . THANK YOU . grate product .

by:

Truly I was expecting a better finish on this American product that has a very good reputation, but the Cleaning of the BB's(sub-product of the welding process) was poorly done in a very specific area, and the Hitch was painted over those micro-spheres with an obvious poor result on the Painting job.

by:
2004 Chevrolet Blazer

the hitch is exactly what I wanted. heavy duty and solid. I would have no hesitation to pull anything with it. the shipping was very quick and I got confirmation about my order shipping and delivery from the company, the best customer service by far I have ever got. my only complaint is that one hole in the frame was a hair small but a couple hits with a hammer and good to go. I will definitely recommend this product and even more so this company.

by:

Small gap between where the hitch bolts to the frame on both sides. Slightly more than 1/8 inch. Really needed to have washers to take up this slack. To correct this issue I would need to remove and replace every bolt.

by:

Taylor corrected MY mistake, and both the incorrect and correct hitch arrived the same day. Return label is printed for wrong hitch and on it's way too UPS as I type this review. We couldn't be happier with your products, service, and pricing.

1998 Chevrolet Blazer

Purchaced hitch for a 1998 Chevy Blazer to pull a small pop up camper. I had expectations of possibly not having my truck for a day or 2 while my husband installed it. I had my truck back in less than 2 hours.

by:
2010 Chevrolet Blazer

It stated it takes only 10 minutes to install, but it took me over 2 hours to install. Your bolts that came with the hitch were almost to big for the holes that were already drilled under my Blazer.. Once I got the bolts in everything went smoothly. Nice looking hitch.

by:

Excellent product and service!
I could
of installed it while eating a sandwich(sandwich not recommended).etrailer.com in my opinion is the best service, unmatched.

by:

Could not ask for better service or quality in the product. I ordered it Monday and received it by Thursday. It took only about 25 minutes to install because I had to locate my air tools. I was very happy with the entire order and will purchase all of my equipment needs through here in the future. Thank You E-Trailer !

by:

  • Can a 2001 GMC Jimmy 4x4 Tow a 1993 Toyota Corolla on a 16 Foot Utility Trailer
From what I could find, the various models of the 2001 GMC Jimmy have a towing capacity of 3900 to 5400 pounds depending on the trim level. Consult your vehicle owners manual to determine the official capacity of your specific model. You will likely not have to use 4-wheel drive but the towing section in the owners manual should be able to tell you the proper procedure. Based on what I found on the curb weight of the heaviest 1993 Toyota Corolla it will weigh in at about 2500 pounds. You...

  • Recommended Class III Trailer Hitch and 4-Pole Wiring for 1998 Chevrolet Blazer
For the 1998 Chevy Blazer we have two sizes/classes of trailer hitch available from Draw-Tite and Curt. We have 1-1/4-inch Class II and also 2-inch Class III hitches. We generally always recommend the larger Class III type since it typically has a higher weight capacity and since there will be more accessories (like bike racks and carriers) made for this 2-inch size. The one I recommend out of all options on the linked page is the USA-made Curt # C13020 which I like for its easier no-drill...

  • Will Curt Trailer Hitch 13020 Interfere with the Gas Tank on a 2001 Chevy Blazer
The Curt trailer hitch # C13020 will not interfere with the stock gas tank on a 2001 Chevy Blazer. It bolts to the sides of the frame so the gas tank should not be in the way when installing the hitch. I have linked a couple of videos showing typical installations and a link to the instructions for you to view. If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. And if you need to...

  • Can Trailer Hitch Receiver Be Installed on 1997 Chevy Blazer LS With Swing Away Spare Tire
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13020 can be installed on your 1997 Chevy Blazer LS. The swing away spare tire will not interfere with the installation. If you plan on towing and need wiring, you will also want the 4-Pole Hardwire Kit with Circuit Tester # 18252. This will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount, check out the Curt # D-4. You will also need # 19260 for a 1-7/8" ball or # 63845 for a 2" ball.

  • Will I Be Able to Keep the Spare Tire When I Install Curt Hitch # 13020 on my 2002 Chevy Blazer 4x4
According to the installation instructions you will just raise the hitch into position and then torque down the included nuts and bolts to the specified torque rating and you will be set. There is no mention having to modify/remove the spare tire at all. I would assume that as long as your spare tire is the original factory size tire you would have no issues with it at all installing this hitch on your 2002 Chevy Blazer 4x4 with 4 doors. You may need the following items to complete your...
