CURT Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1997 GMC Jimmy
Question:
valley # V75300 Curt # 19031 Im trying to fit either of these to my 97 GMC Jimmy. the mounting holes on bumper of Jimmy are 10inch on center. Only want to use it for mounting an old Hollywood bike rack. Which of these two would you recommend? Is their a retailer in the Cleveland Ohio area who may stock an item such as this where i would not have ot pay freight? thx,

I would recommend you get a CURT Trailer Hitch # C13020. This hitch is a custom install hitch designed specifically to work on your 1997 GMC Jimmy. I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
Both of the hitches that you referenced would not work for your vehicle. The Valley Hitch # V75300 is designed to be installed on square RV bumpers and the CURT Hitch # E-3S does not have the correct bolt pattern for what you need.
We are located in Wentzville, MO, which is about 25 miles west of St. Louis, we are not familiar with your area so we could not recommend a place to purchase a hitch in the Cleveland area.
I attached FAQ on the different hitch types for you to check out also.
Often time we offer free shipping if you purchase over a certain amount. If you click the view cart button in the top right corner of the screen it should take you to your cart where in the top right corner of the page it will tell you if there is special running and what the price point is for the special.
