Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made Premium Boat Dock Edging. This is going to be a 10-foot length of edging to help protect your boats from coming into contact with that hard or sharp dock edge. A lot of times that can cause damage to our boat, not the best thing in the world. So we want to make sure that we're not causing any undue damage and rubbing and scratching from that as we dock.
This is going to be flexible enough that it should be able to conform to most edges, but it's also going to have a nice, rigid structure. So it should be good for marinas, larger boats or areas where there's going to be a lot of traffic coming into that dock.We take a little closer look, you can see on the inside, it's going to have a reinforced design. It's kind of hard for me to bend this around. So you can see that there's going to be two little supports in there, so it's going to give it a nice rigid structure. So again, the outside is going to be made out of a soft vinyl, so this shouldn't cause any issues with your boat.
It could maybe leave a little bit of a residue, but it won't cause any actual damage if you happen to really scrape up against it.As far as the measurements with this, again, it is going to be 10 feet long or 120 inches. The width going from edge to edge is about four inches. And then the thickness going from the back to the front is about an inch. So it should be a great addition to your dock, keep all those boats protected and not have to do any more maintenance than you have to. This is made in the USA.
