Today we're going to take a look at the Cam Action Lockable Door Latch Kit for small enclosed trailers. This is your stainless steel construction. Now this cam action door latch is ideal for side or rear doors on small utility trailers, vans or trucks. Does use this double action handle assembly which ensures a nice simple, secure latching, helps protect against any in transit jarring. Basically just flip the handle keeper on the hasp latch up and lift the handle to release. And then you can rotate the handle to either release or engage the cams.
If you notice on the handle itself has a nice black vinyl grip on it, makes it very comfortable to use. The hasp that it goes into you can see is a bridge type hasp, helps prevent accidental opening and ensures safe latching action. If you notice when you do close the handle and then you slide this keeper over, you can see the holes line up so you could actually lock that with a padlock for extra security. Padlocks we do sell separately on our website.This part will include everything I laid out here on the table, comes with the top keeper and the top lug, the bottom keeper and the bottom lug, the four top pipe retainers, and the four bottom type retainers. The one handle assembly and the one wide bridge type hasp.
All these parts are a nice stainless steel construction, provides durability, corrosion resistance. They're all a very simple bolt on installation.Now it does require a three quarter inch diameter standard pipe and hardware to install all these. Again, the specs on this, the handle length is about 14 inches long.
