Today were going to review part number TWSPHHA. This is the Tow Rax helmet hanger. This hanger will allow you to hang your motorcycle or dirt bike helmet on this five inch long peg made of sturdy aluminum. This convenient rack will let you hang a helmet or other items like coiled cords, rolls of tape, goggles with straps, and any other items. Has a wide end cap on very end which will prevent anything hanging on here from sliding off the peg. It is made of a sturdy lightweight aluminum construction.
This can be mounted in many ways. It can install in your shop, your garage, or your trailer. You do have to drill holes into the bracket. Drilling is required. The mounting hardware is not included.
A few dimensions on this, again it was five inches in length, three and a half inches wide, and three and a half inches deep. Again just to give you an idea I do have a coiled cord here. If this was hanging in your trailer this would hang on the end cap would keep it from coming off. Also if you had a motorcycle helmet and this was mounted into your trailer you could just hang it on that way. Again the end cap would keep the helmet form coming off the peg.

Installation was not difficult, works perfect in my trailer. I can now hang my helmet and goggles up out of the way. Also EXCELLENT customer service in both quickness and accuracy. I just wish it had came with an extra sticker so I could have added to the outside of my trailer.

This particular hanger is not a sturdy as I thought it would be. I know it's sold as a helmet hanger, but I was going to use it to hang my leather race suit which weighs considerably more than just a helmet. The bar of the hanger is only welded in a few spots to the outer plates and I'm afraid that if I put that much weight on it it's going to bend because there isn't a weld at the most stressed part of the cross bar. I have seen other helmet hangers that have a fully welded bar and I should have just gone with one of those since they would probably hold more weight.
Also, the edges weren't as finished as I had hoped either. They are pretty rough and will need some sanding to make them smoother. I did get a laugh out of the fact that the Tow-Rax brand is made by the company "Phoenix USA", but on the back of the part was a sticker that clearly says "Made in China".
This product is made in China. Very poor construction. Nothing lines up. If you set it on a flat surface it wobbles. Even the decal on the front is crocked. I will not buy anything made by Tow-Rax again.

I like the looks of them, but they need to be welded on each side as they busted and had to be re-welded.
I’m a fabricator by trade and just ordered this to get free shipping on another item. This is a very simple design and pretty flimsy but I’m sure I can hang a helmet on it until the 2 tack welds break and then repair it with a bigger weld.

Why doesnt this have an e-track connector. It would be so easy to mount right into e-track. If it did id buy 6 to hold all my sled helmets.
