Today we're taking a look at the replacement bolts and washers for the Reese High Performance Trunnion Weight Distribution Head. This hardware kit is for attaching the weight distribution head to the weight distribution hitch shank. It comes with what you see laid out here on the table. It also comes with some instructions to help walk you through the process step by step of getting it installed. All the hardware does have a nice coating on it, so it's designed to resist rust and corrosion.It comes with two bolts. These have a 3/4-inch diameter.
This one measures 5-1/2 inches long from the bottom of the bolt head to the end of the threads. This one measures 4-1/2 inches long from the bottom of the bolt head to the end of the threads. It also comes with your serrated block washers. It comes with two split lock washers and two hex nuts.Now, for the installation, it does require a 1-5/16 inch socket or wrench to get everything installed. Replaces the hardware necessary for attaching the weight distribution head to the hitch shank.Everyone with a Reese Weight Distribution Head (RP58167) should have a set of these as onboard spares. I recently destroyed the serrations on a set of these on an overly steep mountain road in the Great Smokys with a 13,000 lb trailer, and could NOT find replacements in the Knoxville area.
Before that, I'd towed a heavy trailer across the U.S. a dozen times with that hitch without a single issue.

Sealed package contained 4 seriated washers and NO locking washers. Should have contained 2 of each style! Now waiting for washers.
Requires 1 1/8 inch wrench not 1 5/16 inch wrench. I ordered 1 5/ 16 inch wrenches that I don't need based on information in your web site. Not really a problem but you should correct information in web site.

The description states 1-5/16 for wrench needed. It is actually 1-1/8. Bolt kit is what was expected, no issues. Please correct description.
