Today we're taking a look at the Smart Straps Lift Sling with Eye Ends. This can help you in a lot of different applications to lift or wrap around things. It's going to have some different weight-carrying capacities depending on what configuration you have it in, and I'll go over those numbers with you in a minute.We'll have our sling strap, has reinforced ends. Lot of stitching in there to help that end stay nice and secure. Then it also has the reinforcement over the actual loops themselves, so it's going to help those to prevent any kind of premature wear sewn into the strap to help give it some extra strength.This measures four feet long, total. This extends out four feet from end to end, and that's going from the very end of the loop to the other side.

I go actually to the end of my loops, a little bit closer to 50 inches of just total length there. Then for our loops from where it y's off to the inside edge it's about seven-and-a-half inches of space there. So it gives you an idea of how wide that'll fit.And, again, we can use this as a just vertical lifting action. You can use it as a choker where we have it looped through back on itself or in a basket configuration where you have it tied off in two ways and lifting that way. Whenever you're just using it as a straight vertical lift, the safe working load limit for that will be 1067 pounds with a maximum break strength of 3200 pounds.

If we use it as a choker, that's going to drop our safe working load limit down to 833 pounds with a break strength of 2500 pounds. This is also listed on this tag here. If you use it in the basket configuration, that ups our safe working load limit to 2153 pounds, and that has a break strength of 6400 pounds.That tag on there that's listing all off the weight capacities, that doesn't have the safe working load limit; it just has the break strength. But your safe working load limit is just the break strength cut down to a third.
