Attached bar to under door, and also one under propane fill door. Makes it easy to change stairs where you need them. I built a U-Haul RV and when the stairs are under the propane door the ramp can still be used. My frind ran into the bottom of the stairs when they where extended and bent the aluminum bat that attaches stairs. Maybe this bar should be steel also. The stairs have ample room under the door, and when folded up out of the way, fit perfectly on the back bumper. There is also clearance to hook up the trailer. Great product.
Nice to be able to move the same stair from side and rear door of a custom build.
The bracket says it’s for a 24 inch stairs but the bracket does not fit 24 inch stairs it hits the bolts on the scissor stairs so I had to make my own bracket for the stairs and grind down your bracket total modify just to make it work

We purchased scissor steps with additional mounting bars so we could use them in different locations. The steps are sturdy and surprisingly light weight. All contact with e-trailer reps, from calling to ask questions before purchasing, to their follow up afterwards has been exemplary. They have customer service down to a fine art.
I recently bought a scissor step for one of 2 slide in campers I own and needed an extra bracket to use the steps on both units. The bracket is very heavy duty and does the job. Mounting was a 10 minute job.
etrailer was the only site we found to purchase these, so they get 5 stars. easy install = 5 holes with 5 bolts into a suitable structural piece. 4 out of 5 stars for the product because the coating that covers the metal is cheap and thin - the steps rubbed through the paint after 2 uses (one weekend). we live in the desert and the metal is already rusting. we'll likely remove these and have them repainted or powder-coated or would recommend that Brophy coat these with bedliner or POR15 or equivalent for durability and longevity. we also added a strip of rubber (mud flap) between the two hooks to prevent rubbing and rusting.
steps worked great for the 400 square feet not-so-tiny portable house being built. light but very sturdy and easy to install. after the deck boards are installed the gap at the top will be covered. speedy delivery at a fair price. I highly recommend them. etrailer is definitely one of my go to internet sites. reasonable prices, fast delivery and good selections, with good customer support. thanks etrailer !!!

The bracket works well with my step unit...very secure and stable. A reminder though that it is not designed for permanently securing stairs to the camper while in motion.
