What's up everybody, it's A J with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at his bulldog winch tire pressure monitor and inflator. So what this is going to do, you're going to be able to hook this up to your tire. See how much tire pressure you have. And you can even let some out, if you need to. If it's overfilled, you can let some out there or hook up an air hose to the bottom and use it as an inflator to fill up your tire and monitor how much you're putting in there.
Let's check it out. This monitor is going to work from zero to 200 PSI. So you're going to be able to use it on your SUV's cars, trucks, some motor homes, maybe even a semi truck cause it does go all the way up to 200 PSI. You can check the tires with that. So how are you going to do this You're gonna hit on, on the gauge itself, that's gonna pop up.
It's set on PSI so we're good to go. So I'm just going to push this lever here. That's going to open up the inside and allow you to put it over the bow. Just like that. It's on there, one nice thing is it's hooked on there.
I don't have to hold it in place or add any pressure. And right here, we'll see, we've got 40 PSI, 40.6, sorry, PSI in this tire. Another feature this has, like I said, is that you can let some air out. So we're at 40.6, let's just try and get back down to 40. I'm going to hit this button right here.
You can see the tire pressure is going down, there we go. Nope, almost right there at 40, there we go. And that's a great feature for a couple of reasons. You know, maybe you're going from cold climate to a warm climate. That's going to expand your tires and add more air in there. So you can let that out, that way it's a smoother ride. Or if you're going off-roading and you would need to lower that tire pressure for better climbing, you can do that too. Something I found very useful is when you hook up the airline to the bottom and you're adding air in there, just in case you go over a little bit, you can back it off just a little bit and you don't have to keep taking that off, putting it back on and even checking it, it's all one tool. The other great thing is you can hook up an airline to it. So if you have an airline run in your garage or you have a compressor going, you run to the bottom like we did here, and then you can use it to input your tire too. So we're going to hook it up. Same way we did last time. There we go. So you're at 39, so I can just pull on this here. Yep, now we're at 41, so we're not too far. It's like I said, it's nice to have that other feature to let the air back out. I don't have to get different tools or do anything else. We can just monitor it from here and get it back to 40 like we wanted. There we go. So overall I think is going to be a great tool to have, especially if you have that airline or that compressor in your shop, The ability to moderate by your air up and adjust as you go, which is pretty awesome. It took no time to air up my tires and make sure they we're exactly where I want them. This also made it easy because of how long it is, you can easily reach any of those stems and still read this. The fact that it bends around too is really nice. That way you can read it from any angle you need to and still air up that tire. Well, thanks for hanging out. And I hope this helps..
