Today we're taking a look at the Snap-Loc E-Track tie-down anchors with the included cam buckle strap. Now, this kit lets you anchor the included strap wherever you need a tie down points, so that way you can securely anchor the E-strap wherever you need one, whether it's on a cart, dolly, in your pickup, on your truck, trailers, racks, walls, ceilings, floors, and so on. Very versatile system. It includes two black E-Track tie-down anchors, one E-strap with the cam buckle, and it comes with your hardware pack. So it has four allen screws, four flat washers, and four lock nuts. The anchors are made from thick 10 gauge steel with a durable rust resistant black powder coated finish, to resist rust and corrosion.
They measure five and three quarter inches long, one inch wide, half inch deep. And the mount hole measures five sixteenths by five sixteenths. And the bolt holes are separated on center by five inches.The E-strap is made of rigid polyester webbing, has the built-in cam buckle right here. And on the ends we have the E-Track fittings. These simply just clip right here into the anchor.
Now, you can use standard E-Track accessories with these anchors as well. The strap measures two inches wide by 16 feet long, has an 18 inch lead on this end, and it has the sewn on hook and loop fastener, which allows for easy storage. So this just simply can be bundled around the strap. So if you wanted to roll this strap up, bundle it together, take this, feed it around. You can secure the strap, keep it organized until you're ready to use it again.
This is also great for securing any excess strap that you have before travel.The maximum load or break strength rating is 3000 pounds. Safe working load limit is 1000 pounds. The buckle right here is very easy to use. So once you have everything connected, all you have to do is pull on this to tighten and pull the slack out of the strap. Now, this buckle has little teeth right here that grip onto the strap without damaging it.
And what those teeth do is it prevents backfeeding. So it does not allow it to be loose, or to become loose. In order to release tension or loosen the strap, you have to press the release lever. Then you can release the strap, you can loosen it and unload your cargo or unload your gear. So it's a nice, easy-to-use design. Steel construction with protective coating on the buckle here, as well as on the fittings.
