Today, we're taking a look at a Snap-Loc truck and trailer E-strap system. Now, this kit lets you anchor the included straps wherever you need a tie down point. So you can securely anchor the straps where you need it on carts, dollies, trucks, trailers, racks, walls, ceilings, and floors. A very versatile kit. Can be used for a lot of different situations and applications. It comes with six black E-track tie-down anchors, and it comes with two E-straps with ratchets, and it comes with your hardware.
So it comes with 12 Allen screws, 12 flat washers, and 12 lock nuts. Now, the anchors, that's these right here, these are made from thick 10 gauge steel with durable powder coat finishing. They'll accept any E-track accessory. They measure five and three-quarter inches long, one inch wide by half-inch deep. The mount holes on them measure five-sixteenths by five-sixteenths.And the mount holes are separated on a five-inch centers.
These feature a maximum load or break strength of 3000 pounds with a safe working load limit of 1000 pounds. And then we have the E-straps with the ratchets. These are made of rigid polyester webbing, and they feature the built-in ratcheting mechanisms. Now, these straps measure two inches wide by 16 feet long with the 18-inch lead end. Two ratchet straps are included.
Maximum load or break strength for each strap is 4,400 pounds. Safe working load limit is 1,467 pounds. They also have the sewn-on hook and loop fastener for easy storage, as you can see there. Also, you can use that to secure any excess strap that you have before heading down the road. Products made in the USA.
It's really nice. It's really easy to use.We have the E-track fitting right here, which, when you're ready, engages in the anchor, just like that. Clicks into place. Also, very easy to remove as well. The anchors or the fittings right here, the E-track fittings, steel construction, spring-loaded with protective finishing on to keep them safe from rust and corrosion. Same thing goes here for the actual ratchet and mechanism. Steel with a protective coating. Now, this ratcheting mechanism has three positions. So basically, you have your down position. This is like your travel position. You have your release lever here. So you lift that up to a middle position. That's your ratcheting position. That allows you to take any slack out of the strap and tighten it over or around your cargo. And then, you have the fully open position which allows you to loosen the strap or disengage the tension. And that would also allow you to completely remove the strap from the ratcheting mechanism if desired. That's going to do it for today's look at the Snap-Loc truck and trailer E-strap system.
