When you dont have a roof rack on your car, this product is excellent.

by:

It is a good product. I used it for years. Unfortunately I left it in my Jaguar for about a year and when I took it out to use(I live in Florida) the straps disintegrated. Every time I pulled on them they broke apart with 10 pound force. The top of my car is fine but if you ever do use this product don't leave it in your trunk, take it out after use. Heat kills it. Also there is a warning of cancer. I'm not positive what that is about but the dust from disintegrated straps can't be good. Much like the space shuttle tires when they touch down to Earth. Anyway...a really good product if you don't want to add something permanent to your cool car.(Always make sure straps are tight and don't wobble for your fellow car mates :)

I like these for transporting my kayak, but not good if it’s rainng. Water flows down straps and into car!

  • Roof Rack Options For 2015 Toyota Corolla With Naked Roof
The easiest and cheapest roof rack for your 2015 Toyota Corolla would be to use a removable temporary roof rack. I would look into the Yakima EasyTop Universal Fit Roof Rack - Padded # Y07418 which is a pad that simply straps onto your roof; it has a weight capacity of 80lbs. Another removable option is the Malone HandiRack Universal Fit Roof Rack # MPG452. This Malone roof rack is inflatable which may be more troublesome and take longer to setup, but it does have a higher weight capacity...

  • Recommended Temporary Roof Rack That Can Be Removed When Not In Use
I think the Malone HandiRack Universal Fit Roof Rack - Inflatable - 180 lbs # MPG452 would work great for you. When inflated it sits 4" from your roof, whereas other similar options on the market sit only 3" from the roof and do not provide quite as much clearance as the Malone HandiRack. I do not see any customer feedback stating that the HandiRack damaged or scratched their vehicle in anyway; this should not happen if the kayak or other cargo is secured properly to the inflatable roof...

  • Roof Carrier Options for a 120 lb. Fishing Kayak on a Tesla Model Y
I do have a couple options for you. We do not have any roof racks that are confirmed to fit the Tesla Model Y's, but I see that Tesla does offer a roof rack themselves. The size and weight of your kayak also limit your options, but I have an option for both if you have a roof rack or do not. If you have the Tesla roof rack, your best option is going to be the Lockrack Adjustable XL Watersport Carrier # LR54FR. This rack can support a kayak weighing up to 175 lbs. and a width between 28"...

  • Malone Inflatable Roof Rack Compatibility
The Malone HR20 Inflatable Roof Rack part MPG453 (discontinued) and the Malone HandiRack Inflatable Roof Rack part # MPG452 are both very similar alternatives to a traditional roof rack. A few key points to make is that the HandiRack has a weight capacity of up to 180 lbs whereas the HR20 can only support up to 44 lbs. The HandiRack also comes with both bow and stern tie-downs and the HR20 does not. With that being said either one would work for you but the the HandiRack will offer a greater...

  • Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendations for a 2004 Mercedes C240
To safely carry your 2 kayaks on your 2004 Mercedes C240 you will first need a roof rack since the vehicle does not have one. The most cost effective option that fits your vehicle is # RR36ZR for 2-door models or # RR29ZR for 4-door models. With a roof rack installed you could then use the J-style carrier # S512 which by itself holds one kayak. But it can hold 2 kayaks by adding the expansion arm # RRS512X. The carrier has a capacity of 99 pounds.

  • Which Roof Rack For a 2017 Buick Verano With Sunroof and Roof-Rail Airbags
From my research The Malone HandiRack Universal Roof Rack # MPG452 will fit on the roof of your 2017 Buick Verano, but in your owners manual it states that since you have the roof-rail airbags it is not recommend to use any roof mounted accessories that have a strap that goes through your door or window as it will block the airbag from being deployed. Since all of the inflatable roof racks mount with a strap through your vehicle the only option is to install a roof rack is with the SeaSucker...

  • Will Malone HandiRack Universal Fit Roof Rack Fit 2014 Honda CR-V
The Malone HandiRack Universal Fit Roof Rack - Inflatable # MPG452 is a universal fit which will absolutely fit on your 2014 Honda CR-V. In regards to the straps on this rack coming apart, that was in fact due to how it was stored. The manufacturer has detailed in the linked instructions - part of which I have cut out - that it needs to be removed, deflated and stored appropriately. That means it needs to be dry and away from extreme heat or cold, because it doesn't have the strength of...

I do have an option for you but there are only universal roof rack options for a 2001 Isuzu VehiCROSS therefore you can choose between the suction type, the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack part # 298-SX6000B or strap-on, the Malone HandiRack Universal Fit Roof Rack part # MPG452. I recommend the SeaSucker since it's more secure and looks better.

  • How to Carry Kayak on Naked Roof of 2022 Toyota RAV4
While we have a way for you to carry a kayak on the bare roof of your 2022 Toyota RAV4, unfortunately there just isn't a roof rack with crossbars that fits a RAV4 with a naked roof; I checked with each manufacturer and nobody has made one. There also aren't generic or universal racks with crossbars because they require fit kits for the specific curvature and dimensions where the clamps fit on the door jambs. Having said all that, the only solution I can see is using the Malone HandiRack...

  • Will the Malone HandiRack Work on a Bare-Roof 2016 Honda Odyssey?
The Malone HandiRack Universal Fit Roof Rack # MPG452 would be a good option for you on your 2016 Honda Odyssey. It is not recommended to put weight on your moonroof so arranging this around that as much as possible would be encouraged. This is a great option for short trips, but is not recommended for long distance trips. Since the maximum weight capacity of the HandiRack is 180 pounds, it can be used to transport your 80-pound canoe.

The Malone Handi-Rack is an inflatable rack system that allows for you to quickly add roof racks to your vehicle. They Include 5 anchor points on the vehicle. Yes. The Malone HandiRack Universal Fit Roof Rack - Inflatable # MPG452 is designed to be a universal fit, so it will fit on just about anything you can throw at it-including your 2016 Ford Edge.
