Designed for curved steps, this durable outdoor step rug contours perfectly to rounded steps and gives you a place to wipe off your feet after a hike on the trails. Heavy-duty carpet has a micro-ribbed texture for better traction, so you can climb in and out of your RV safely, but is also soft for bare feet and puppy paws. Its hook-and-loop fastening strips provide extra support to keep the rug snug to your RV Step.
The rug wraps around your step and secures with included hook-and-loop fastening strips and springs - no screws, glue, or tools needed. The 2 hook-and-loop fastening strips stick to the front edge and top, back portion of the step. Once the rug is aligned and pressed firmly to the step, the springs connect the front and back grommet holes of the rug underneath your RV step, giving you a clean, seamless look. Choose between multiple sets of grommet holes depending on the size of your step. Rug can quickly be removed for cleaning and easily reattached when you're finished.

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we are looking at the PrestoFit, Outrigger Exterior RV Step Rug here at etrailer. So we have a bunch of different types of step rugs here at etrailer. What this one is really good for is for having a nice soft texture, especially if you have bare feet, this is pretty good for keeping you comfortable, as well as keeping the interior of your RV clean. Now this is designed just for curved steps. If you're not sure what kind of step you have, take a look at the end. And if you see a steady curve all around, it's a curved steps.
Now some just have curves on the edges, but they're straight towards the middle, that's a straight step. If you're also not sure you can check out our universal fit step rugs here at etrailer. What I also recommend you checking out is our selection of patio rugs here at etrailer. As you can see, I have the step rug at the top, but here on the ground, I have another exterior rug. This is nice because let's say you want to have some morning stretching or exercise.
You can walk straight out of your RV onto the rug, and you don't have to worry about stepping in mud, dirt, grass, gravel, or even the hot and cold pavement outside, which she can get pretty uncomfortable With the step rug, you're going to want to make sure you have that traction, because then you don't want to be slipping down the steps, but also you want to be able to wipe off that dirt and mud off of your shoes after a long day. So here we have some exterior steps which show why it's a great idea to get some step rugs. So you can see this has gone through a lot. We have a lot of dirt and mud caked onto the steps. It's actually kind of hard to wash off now, cause I need to do a little bit of scrubbing, but if you had a step rug on there, he won't have to worry about tracking this dirt onto your nice carpet inside your RV.
And it's easier to wash off a step rug or replace it than have to scrub this down all the time. This creates a solid base on your steps, which is great, especially for your fury friends. I know some animals are kind of afraid of going up and down the steps because of how they have holes. Also, they may not like that metallic feeling against their claws and their paws What this creates is a nice comfortable surface, that your pets and fury friends will enjoy going up and down in. This rug is 22 inches wide, as well as it fits steps, eight to 10 inches long.
Another thing about it is it comes in different colors. So this right here is the Outrigger in brown, but some other color options are say black, light brown, and even gray. I've had this out here in the sun all day and that's okay because it is UV resistant. And what that means is even if it's outside, it's not going to fade as quickly or become brittle as quickly as other rugs that don't have that resistance. And you don't have to worry about it breaking down underneath the sun's strong rays. It's also mold and mildew resistant. And what that means is when you're ready to pack up your RV, park it away for the off season, it does get kind of musty on the inside after a while, you don't have to worry about this growing mold or growing mildew while it's inside. It'll just wait patiently for you and your next adventure. Now there are no tools, adhesives, or drilling involved with installing this rug. It comes with springs and it's a quick and easy process. Let's take a look at that. All that really requires is just to put your rug on top of your step. What I like to do actually is to have the flap with the single grommet in the front, and then the flaps with the multiple grommets in the back . Then starting from the front flap, you're going to bring your spring over to the back flap. Once you have all your springs attached make sure it's as centered as you can get it over your steps and then that's it for the install. My final thoughts about this rug is if you are looking for something comfortable, as well as something that looks really good, this might be a good option for you. It has that nice carpet, soft texture compared to let's say the artificial turf that the wraparound step rug has. This is a more comfortable fit. It also looks like a custom fit with how it's designed, especially for your curved RV steps. Covers step so pets can climb without fear. Fits steps 8" to 10" deep.This is our second set of step protectors. We got the first set to try and cut down on the amount of debris that is tracked into our camper. Not only did the protectors do that, they also eliminated how slick the steps were if they were the slightest bit wet. I would highly recommend them!
Just installed these on trailer. Very east to attach. Look great. will have to see on durability.
The Step Rug was to wide, try to cut i down this was the thing to do but this was wrong thing to do .
This was an easy install. The springs on my previous step covers rusted and busted. After being on for a year, the springs still look and work great!
I like these step covers. They fit well, are easy to keep clean, and help to remove dirt and debris from shoes and feet and keep it outside. But most of all, they make it much easier for our 4-legged travel companion to go up and down the steps.

Just received these a couple days ago. They seem to be quality step rugs. I haven't had time to go to the storage lot to check the fit and install. I think these will allow my dog to use the steps easier because the metal seems to scare her.
We like the step covers for the fact that you keep most of the mess out of the rv and the nonslip cover makes it safer on wet day's

This rug was so easy to install. It works great for trapping dirt and keeping it out of your rv.
Very well made. Suggest installing covers w/ springs toward the front lip of step rather then rear. This helps 4 tread stairs "nest" when storing.
