Removing Slide Out Seals To Determine The Replacement On A 2012 Keystone Premier Ultra-Lite Bullet

Question:

I have a 2012 Keystone Premier Ultra-Lite Bullet 29RTPR. The slide on the door side has a wiper seal that has gone bad. How do I remove the old one. I have watched several videos and they show all the outside wiper seals being taken off on the out side of the slide. I have tried to remove mine and it seems like that is not the way this seal is removed. Please see attached picture. Thaniks

It's hard to tell from the picture but it looks like the bulb seal sits on your wiper seal so you'll have to first remove it in order to get to the wiper seal. These are typically just stuck on with some 3M tape and possibly a few screws so I recommend thoroughly looking over your seals to ensure you aren't getting hung up on a screw. Based on the picture you most likely either have a stick on wiper seal, like part # SR96FR, or there's a track under there and you have a seal like # SR94FR. Without actually seeing the seals in person it's a bit hard to tell though, but you should be able to pull either style off of the wall of the trailer.
