Hi there! I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Honda trailer hitch cover. This is going to help decorate and protect your Honda's hitch receiver. It will slide into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver and it's gonna help keep out dirt and deter rust, so that when you go to put in your bike rack, or cargo carrier, or ball mount, it's gonna be a nice, smooth operation. You're not gonna have to worry about a bunch of gunk being in that receiver tube. This does have this 3D ABS plastic, officially licensed, Honda logo. You can see it does have a chrome plating, so it's gonna add a nice classic style.
And then it's got the UV resistant black paint interior. that's gonna provide a nice strong contrast to attract the eye and give it a really nice style. It does have the polished stainless steel base. It's gonna give kind of a a mirror-like shine and help to resist rust and corrosion. It is a one piece construction, so we've got the riveted construction put together there to make sure that we're not gonna have to assemble it when it arrives.
It's all gonna come as one piece. The hitch pin and clip, or locking pin, are sold separately. You probably already have one for your hitch, but if you don't, we do have lots of options available here at etrailer.com as well as those locking pins to make sure that no one's gonna be able to take off with your hitch cover when you're not around. And this is made here in the USA, so you can trust it is gonna be a really good quality for you. I bought the Honda Trailer Hitch Cover. Silver and Black, perfect for my Silver Ridgeline. When the Hitch Cover arrived I was totally impressed with the look and construction of the Hitch Cover. I couldn't have asked for anything better. This is exactly what I wanted for my Honda Ridgeline. Also, the price was more than fair and the shipment time to my door was great. Well made really stands out, stainless mount, plastic emblem sturdy, fits 1 1/4" hitch
One wonders why all covers made for 1 1/4" with and adapter for 2" so there would be no need for 2 sizes. I attached it to my E Trailer hitch on my Corvette. Yes a tow hitch on a Corvette for bike rack.
