Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Valterra drain nut. This is a black ABS plastic drain nut that can replace a damaged nut on your freshwater tank or other application. It does have a 3/8-inch FPT, or female pipe threading, so, should work for most applications. Just give you a few extra measurements here. You can see that our opening here or our protrusion is going to be right about 7/8's of an inch.
It's gonna stick out about 3/16's of an inch. Overall width or diameter is going to be about 1-5/8's of an inch. Our flange there is going to sit at right about 1/8 of an inch and flipping over to the other side, without these little bulbs here, our diameter is about 1-3/16's of an inch, with the bulbs, go up to about 1-3/8's.
